Brendan Taylor/Zim v NZ thread
is currently on 67 off 60 balls in the 15th over vs NZ. If he gets to 100 (Zim are chasing 328 following tons to Ross Taylor and Williamson) he'll join Zaheer Abbas, Saeed Anwar Herschelle Gibbs and AB de Villiers with three hundreds on the trot in ODIs, no-one's scored four in a row.
That's very impressive, shame no-one else in the Zim top order can buy a run at the moment.

Taylor gone for 75. Still no-one's ever scored over 300 runs in a 3 match ODI series before

I feel a wee bit guilty for speaking up and putting the mockers on him.
Cricinfo were speculating whether 2 players on opposite teams with the same surname had scored tons in an ODI before.

to be honest, brendan taylor is and has been a quality player in an awful side for a while now..
he's a qualtiy batsman, he can keep, he can bowl decent off spin, and he's the captain..

And he's in my fantasy IPL squad. May have to try to use him a bit more on current form ...
Doesn't he wicket-keep occasionally too?

Sorry CF, my eyes somehow completely blanked that phrase. And I read it twice

Zim win in a record chase for them with a ball to spare.
I should have don more "mocker"-ing

Zim chase 329 to down NZ
New Zealand 328/5 (50 ov)
Zimbabwe 329/9 (49.5 ov)
Zimbabwe won by 1 wicket (with 1 ball remaining)
Unbelievable.....and an
little hear of Malcolm Waller blasts 99
Zim show more promise than BD...by far
