First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the life size photo of Thierry Dusautoir.

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Puma,
Windoze 7 Update bulliten for web-camera showing top of head only:

1. If stool/chair/toadstool is adjustable - please adjust to optimal height for web cam display.
2. If PC table can be lowered - follow user instructions for that application.

If options 1 or 2 are not available in your country...

Then
3. Put a large comfy cushion under yer orse.

Afternoon all, afraid I've been kept busy at work and "outside" and not made it into the pub before today.

One for the wall though, just for any Masterchef fans https://www.606v2.com/t16253-qa-with-greg-wallace-and-john-torode#627817

Gibbo - laughing I could saw some off the bottom of this desk, but it also only arrived today and was assembled with even more cursing and swearing! And the drawer is on the wrong side furious Instructions very badly printed on the box consisted of hieroglyphics intelligible only to ancient egyptians. Defo need one of them hi-tec chairs to go with my hi-tec PC.

Erm, by the way, any thoughts on how said PC might access next weekend's interpro on-line?

Puma, Sounds like an Ikea desk. My heart goes out to you. As for a Hi-tec/adjustable/pneumatic chair, I have to say Ikea do good ones. Assembled with minimal fuss. I have 2 - one each for meself and MrsG.
We have that old game of changing the car seat position/mirrors, every odd day and it was not going to happen with our PC chair/s!

Seriously pal, get a good one. Its so important for your back, posture and health. As I have been informed by my physio. That was the problem with my back - bad positioning and the chair at the wrong height and the wrong angle of tilt.

No probs now. Its grand.

gibbo, my main problem is having to tilt my head back to be able to see the screen through the 'reading' bit of my specs - boy, does that make my neck ache! Swivelly chair defo next on the list.

Got the Sky+ box set for the match, off to the pub shortly. I smiled when Cari suggested yesterday that I might see the match there! Our local has no TV, no muzak and certainly no goon in a black overcoat on the door. We just talk at each other - without having to shout!

I'm actually staying in Uni on Friday night to watch this game

No-one else around, but my macbook is fried- they don't even know, looks like it will be getting replaced- and I can't get regional channels on my TV coverage so I'm just gonna watch Edinburgh vs Leinster in here and get a ready meal from the shop next door at half time.

How depressing is that?! Smile

This probably sounds very self indulgent, but who cares. I am sitting in my house burning logs that I cut from trees growing on my field. It's a very satisfying feeling...

Hold that thought, it sounds like there's an atmosphere at Firhill!

Visser in for the first try. Gotta make the first-up tackle on him- lethal.

Yeah, but he lost his edge when he overbulked, as did Shane, until they trimmed back a bit found their optimum weight.

Good morning all... just woke up. What have been the scores so far in the Pro12?

Just watching the 4N match, soft try to Beau Scott and Oz lead NZ 6-0 after 15 mins.

In the cricket, Australia needs 62 off 85 with 5 wickets to spare to beat SA in the ODI series decider.
