The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the life size photo of Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ah no Staggy. Any chance that it got handed in? I guess you'll have to go through the rigmarole of cancelling cards and things?

The main problem is Ian Humphreys IMO. When he plays well, we play well and when he doesn't we are fecked.
Just see on FB Stephen Ferris is doing a question and answer session tonight if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Cari Im gonna ring about 10 taxi agencies to see if it was handed in. I don't expect to get the money back but my cards would be handy. Should have noted which company it was but at 3am i wasn't thinking right.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Worth ringing around if it's likely to be a local firm. I would cancel your cards though just in case. It's less hassle than having to deal with the fraud that could come of it if you don't.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I had my wallet stollen once. Ironically from the waiting room of the Court. The last laugh was on me though. As my mates know I hardly ever have cash in my wallet. The poor bugger had to resort to trying to use my card to buy a pork pie in the local co-op and was caught.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I know this wasn't stolen. I took out my wallet to pay for the taxi. No sooner had he driven away I copped that I left it on the back seat.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
The only question is whether the next fare handed it to the driver or pocketed it.

I think the call centres would still be open. You should cancel your cards asap.

Staggy - all the more reason to cancel your cards then. Your bank should provide any time support to do that over the phone.

Some good news for Dragons fans.
Wales pair Toby Faletau and Lloyd Burns have signed contract extensions to keep them with the side until 2014.

I read that this morning, Rava, good news.
The game against the Blues is a really big one now, as if it wouldn't be anyway. Is it too early to be talking about must-win games?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Definitely not Lucky.
It was a must win game for the Scarlets on Saturday.
I think all games are must wins though in the Pro12 becuase all of the teams are so close to each other.
Really tempted to go to the Dragons v Blues on the Friday, taht match is always a cracker.

Why don't you pop down, Dreamer? I'll even buy you a pint! Well, a half. Maybe a Pepsi, whatever's cheap.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Lucky when you are chasing the pack all games are must win and especially those against your local rivals.
HC qualification is a such big incentive so at least getting the 3rd provincial/regional position is a great target. At the minute Dragons and Ulster are in 4th position.

You're just too generous Lucky
seriously think I might do, where at Dave is the best place to get a ticket? All the stands seem to have changed and I can't remember where I was stood last year for the Scarlets fixture. I had a great time there though.

I think you were on the Argus terrace for the Scarlets game last season, Dreamer, which is the one they've done up. It's called the Bisley now and it's all-seater.

Oooo Dragons vs Blues is tempting....mind if I dive on the bandwagon and come along?! Don't think I've got anything planned and seeing as I don't have a match the next day due to injury I can drink!!

he usually plays 11 but is sometimes known to play FB. Depending on if we have our wc players back he may not be starting, but he should be involved in the 23 for sure.

He usually has a scrum cap on and runs like a man with limb extensions, but hey I'm an open minded guy, whatever floats your boat.

I really shouldn't laugh at that. Ahem
In Welsh, North is Gogledd, so people from North Wales are called Gogs.

North Wales in Welsh is Gogledd Cymru, Chef. So people from Gogledd Cymru ar now as 'Gogs'.
