Is It Over For Anelka?
I think he's winding down now, hardly ever scoring and missing more and more games and given the fact that Chelsea have so much competition in the forwards department is it looking like curtains on Anelka's playing days at Chelsea?

I think now that PSG have the money to afford his wages he'll go back there. It's a shame as I think he's still got what it takes, he's been a good player for Chelsea after resurrecting his career.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave the club in January. I have always wondered what would have been had he stayed at Arsenal all them years back because he's never really hung around long enough at any club to have really gained legendary status.
He's probably played his best football at Chelsea though and the 'le sulk' tag appears to have disappeared at last!
He's still good enough to do a job at a mid table Premier League club or maybe a return to PSG beckons?

Gerrard Houllier missed a trick in 2002 by not keeping him on and then wasting 12 million or whatever it was on Diouf. Probably Houlliers biggest gaff.

He is still a good player who can do a job for Chelsea, is he willing to play a bit part role though? Im sure Chelsea would look at offloading Kalou who never seems to offer anything before they sell Anelka
