Ramps signed another contract until age 43

Ramps, currently injured, has signed a further contact with Surrey until end 2012 season, when he will be 43. I had been predicting that his current lengthy time out through injury would be enough to end his career. I still think it might, if he has a setback. Can't think of many other modern batsmen who have been playing cricket at 43. Most of the long-stayers tend to have finished by around 40/41 - if not earlier.

A great cricketer. It will be a sad day when he does finally retire, but it will be great to see him back in action again when he recovers from this injury, pleased hes signed the extension.
