Matthysse? Surely you get disqualified for that? In recent times he's lost to Judah and Alexander although they were close and maybe a bit controversial he still lost.

We've also had Kell Brook today haha.
I'm thinking of implementing a rule whereby, if a fighter is only mentioned once by any poster he will not score any points and be automatically voided from the points scoring system.
I appreciate that may cause issues with your choice of Ioka, but I just want the best possible list and make this P4P list one of the premiums of any other forums.

Why does 1 vote matter? If you just post the top 15 or even 20 they probably wont make it.

I like posting a full list- to show who just missed out on the top 15... Also, it shows how the fighters drop from the previous ranking.
Potentially could just do a top 20 though... Albeit, I think only 20 or so fighters have been mentioned so far.

A bit different with Donaire at the top of the list but I really do think he is a special fighter. He hasn't got as many top wins as Manny or Floyd but for me right now he is the best around while the other two are just past their primes. Also he has been in with two guys at a real elite level and neither saw the halfway stage. From 9 to 15 there isn't much between them, very very close down there with Guerrero and Montiel just missing out.
Thank you to the man who brought Kazuto Ioka to my attention, never heard of him before but watched his fight against Oleydong Sithsamerchai and what a performance that was from a guy with less than 10 fights. Dealt with an experienced unbeaten southpaw world champion without much trouble at all. He really is one to watch.

Interesting choice, I guess he is yet another alphabet champion at LWW now. I will be using a filter system to eliminate votes for miscellaneous fighters who don't appear often enough in the listings provided.

we are talking pound for pound though??? morales would lose to khan and probably lost to maidana, but he is fighting 2 weights above where he should be and fighting out of peak condition in order to target higher earning fighters. he would be the man at super-feather if he chose to and would give marquez a good shout at lightweight imo. surely you dont need to use a filter system to eliminate votes for fighters who dont appear often enough, as they shouldnt accumulate enough votes to make the final count?

That to me sound like the both worthy of a top 10 in your eyes, but you only want one of them in there?
Is that correct?

Hi Lance,
I'm actually sold by your reasoning as this is meant to be a subjective list, and quite possibly if Morales could make the weight he could still be the man at super featherweight. However, at LW I think Guerrero and Marquez will have his number.
The 2 points he gets will get him into P20ish, which isn't totally obsurbed. Thanks for your post.
