Great / rubbish band names

There are some stupid band names out there - and some band names that are so bad they're actually great. What are the stupidest / most brilliant band names you've heard?

Here's one for starters. They were around in the '90s and I've never heard a note of music by them: Raging Speedhorn.

They were not Flip ace

My brother's former band was called Twisting The Knife (they're a metal type of band) which I thought was great, but now they've changed to Chains of Hate which I think is....I dunno...a bit crap.

One of the worst I've ever heard though was a band called "Crystalised Movements". I kid you not. They were an indie type band around in the early '90s.

There really should have been some quality control on band names in the '90s...

Demon - that's not the Carter USM I recall. In their heyday in the early 90s there was only Jimbob and Fruitbat with a drum machine. Obviously not their real names...

Yeah they are the official members, but for live shows they have a full band, and this fella is the guitarist. Has been for years and years - he works where I work as a temp, and he can't sign a full time contract because he goes touring with them.

Feeder is a stupid name. And caused their fans some uncomfortable viewing when they automatically assumed their website was feeder.com apparantly...

Fatman Scoop. What a stupid stage name. Whereas Fat Joe is a great stage name.

Monster Magnet is a nonsensical name, but the story behind it is that it's one of a number of different names they'd put on their demo tapes when they sent them out. Which is a story I like. They're a great band too.

Remember Busted? One of them went on to have a band called Son of Dork, which makes him so punchworthy it's untrue.
