Have Wigan got some Saffas that Sarries haven't tapped up yet?

Not that I know of. Though it wouldn't surprise me
Metal Tiger have you got anymore Kiwis with English grannies or players from a certain northern rugby union club in the pipeline?

Re: Saracens and Wigan in partnership
Cockerill was less than impressed with Waldrom's English grandmother, I've heard it on the grapevine (not the greatest source admittedly) that if Waldrom breaks into the England team and stays there his contract may not be renewed. As he signed a three deal he won't be out the door anytime soon though.
I don't think there's any current plans to go back to pilfering Newcastle. The main mission at the minute is to finalise the deals for Cole and Ayerza which are supposedly nearly done (particularly in Ayerza's case). Then I'd expect the club to be looking for a replacement for Hamilton for next season.

Sam I am course joking though there is an element of truth to what I and Metal Tiger are saying.
Shame for you at Leicester though because he was meant to be part of your squad during the RWC. Bit of a joke that he essentially flew thousands of miles to be a waterboy.
Yup you need to focus on those guys because they are strong props. I would also look to replace Grindall and Staunton too.
I am really excited with the partnership with Wigan. Will the gamble work?
It worked with Andy Farrell in the end so why not Joel Tomkins too?

Grindal should be out the door at the end of the season, he's already 4th choice as soon as Young and Youngs are fit he won't even be travelling with the squad to games. Staunton is dead weight but Cockers seems to like him for some reason and so he'll be enjoying his final season next season (sigh) after that it should be the promotion of Ford.
Did Andy Farrell actually do much in Union? I can't remember any games where he looked particularly good, he seems to have achieved more as a coach than as a player in this version of the code. No reason Tomkins won't flourish he has talent and is making the cross over at a young age and into a winning team. Everything is stacked as a positive for him at the minute.

Re: Saracens and Wigan in partnership
I mean it worked with Andy Farrell in the end because has become a successful coach and introduced his son to rugby union.
I thought Andy Farrell did play in the 2007 world cup so even if not deemed as good he still got picked for England!
I hope Joel Tomkins will be a success.

Nice come back!
Actually I think it can only be good for your club to develop these ties & coop projects. Let's face it, some of our best players have been league converts... and best practice is best practice no matter what code your playing.
Tigers used to have an informal sort of thing going with Leinster... trading players etc. Leo Cullen, Shane Jennings to mention but a few. We also coop with some of the championship clubs like Nottingham & Bedford but I don't know if we have ever done anything outside of the code?

Re: Saracens and Wigan in partnership
I'm not 100% on the rules and have neither the time or inclination to find and read them all. If Wigan allow his contract to lapse for free that is their own perogative, if this happens at the same time they agree a deal of co-operation with Sarries that sees them collect a payment in order to fund the agreement then so be it. In the situation I'd like to see my club do the same thing.

Re: Saracens and Wigan in partnership
Give it another year and then we'll dump Staunton (can't believe he got such a long renewal!) and then come and bring Catterick down to the midlands. His ability to play 10 and 15 will be handy and will generate some good competition between him, Ford and Flood.
We'll send Grindal back at the end of the season, just to keep things fair, eh.
Interestingly Joel and George are facing off in the A League this evening.
