O'Gara at 10 really? I know this was a poor WC for 10s but he wasn't the best by a long shot.
Agree on Charteris Mas would be in my front row anyday.

I never trust public votes as it's basically just people voting for their favourite players, usually from their own side and nothing to do with form.

The Voting was swamped by Kiwis voting for there own. Its quite Laughable 90% of the Kiwis i know who claim to be rugby fans couldn't name me 3Players from every 6 Nations team, they are Clueless

Way to generate a discussion again. Any chance of saying who you would pick then?
Let's be fair, there's worse choices in that team (in other positions).

ROG at 10 kind of makes the whole thing utterly ridiculous

O'Connell is the Irish guy who deserves to be there. BOD and ROG shouldn't be anywhere near it.

Priestland was the best 10 by a country mile and as soon as he got injured it was curtains for Wales.

Probably says a lot about the people you hang out with... rather than Kiwis as a whole. can't believe it's been swamped by Kiwis given the list, people living in NZ maybe.

Even if BOD wasn't at the World Cup I think the Irish would still manage to get him voted in
Phillips at 9 is a depressing choice, but it wasn't a terribly good World Cup for scrummies.
It wasn't a good World Cup for fly halfs either. Hence ROG I guess.

How can a player who was on form be a "depressing choice". Why do you use the word depressing? He played some great rugby. What was depressing about it?
Can't you just comment on rugby without writing rubbish that insults people...? Today the Irish, usually the welsh...!
Do you have a valid reason why you constantly wish to annoy antagonise and troll all over posts relating to welsh or irish rugby?
What you write is not amusing..! I dont think you intend to be amusing.
I do notice that you fame a sense of humour as an excuse to mark your insulting behaviour.

Its a bit hard to imagine that this poll was swamped by kiwis especially Kiwis that didnt recognise the performance of Maa Nonu and Jerome Kaino.

Please continue to ignore then if you can't face differences of opinion. That's what the facility is for. Given that you posted recently that you have 17 (and counting) on your ignore list it's probably pretty quiet at your end

Re: IRB's RWC 2011 Facebook Dream Team
Differences in opinion are not a problem what so ever. Persistent trolling and writing niggling comments intended to wind people up, usually referring to the posters comment rather than the thread, as you constantly do is annoying and rather pathetic...
I dont understand why you get so much enjoyment being such a pain in the arse rather than actually enjoying this site for what it is...
Why dont you explain why you described Mike Phillips's selection in the team above as DEPRESSING...?
Very strange choice of words.

Re: IRB's RWC 2011 Facebook Dream Team
I consider Phillips' inclusion depressing because I don't consider him a particularly good player and certainly not a good scrum half. If he's considered the best in the tournament then it's a depressing thought in terms of scrum half play.

I have to agree Safe! and i'm a huge Wales fan!
Phillips was consistently average, his kicking game put Wales under pressure every time, his slow, and regular poor delivery hurt the Welsh backline, and quite how Preistland coped with it I don't know! Hook couldn't!
He did score 2 superbly taken tries to his credit and both were in the 1/4 and 1/2 finals which is to be applauded!
He is a very good rugby player, and has a very good rugby brain, but he is an average SH, highlighted by his lack of top club options when looking for a contract!

You state the Kiwis swamping the vote as a fact. Any suggestion as to why they would only choose 7 Kiwis?
