How bad has this year been for boxing?
Haye v Kitschko - The most anticipated heavyweight fight of recent years turns out to be a one-sided snoozefest with the loser blaming his loss on a toe injury
Mayweather v Ortiz - Despite Mayweather being heavy favourite, many people looked forward to see if Ortiz could land some bombs and upset him. Mayweather wins via sucker punch. Fight more famous for Joe Cortez incompetence
Hopkins v Dawson - To decide who is the Ring champion. Fight over in 2nd round after a judo type throw and a legend of the sport pulling out with a shoulder injury and ref giving a controversial TKO
Pacquiao v Marquez - Most people have JJM a clear winner but judges decide different with accusations of corruption and "Protecting the Floyd v Pac fight"
Any other disasters iv missed and can the last big 2 fights left (Cotto Marg and Froch Ward) save some face? I hope so
Regards

Bradley Alexander was a pig ugly fight that ended in Alexander essentially quitting. Massive disappointment.

Re: How bad has this year been for boxing?
Domestically, it's been a good year. Some legitimate and much-vaunted British match ups have taken place, certainly more than we'd usually get in a twelve month span; Groves-DeGale, Fury-Chisora, Murray-Mitchell, Bellew-Cleverly etc, and some of them have been very good fights, too.
Likewise, our top boys in general have been pretty good; Froch, Khan, Burns, Cleverly, Brook and so on have all had very good years so far.
But internationally, it's been a different story. 'The Fight' is yet to materialize, which is one thing, but let's look at it this way; in my mind, the five biggest fights in terms of the names, revenue generated, public interest and PPV buys to have happened so far in 2011 are probably Mayweather-Ortiz, Pacquiao-Marquez, Pacquiao-Mosley, Haye-Klitschko and Hopkins-Dawson. Of those five, two of them were absolute stinkers and the other three were all shrouded in controversy for whatever reason.
Granted, there have been some exceptions. Donaire reminded us all why he's on his way to all-time greatness against Montiel, Brandon Rios has entertained us all and shown a glimpse of the thrills we can expect from him in the future, and Hopkins creating history against Pascal was a great story.
But when it comes to the biggest names showing their best, or the fights which we needed to be crackers as they were the most liable to bring in new fans, 2011 has been a bit of a washout in global terms.

It wasn't a robbery. It was a very entertaining fight that split opinion. Not a robbery in any way, shape or form.

Location : Your knuckles whiten on the wheel. The last thing that Julius will feel, your final flight can't be delayed. No earth just sky it's so serene, your pink fat lips let go a scream. You fry and melt, I love the scene.
