Always been more of a 'Deth fan than a Metallica one, speedier more technical riffing. How can you like Cathedral but not Carcass, that makes no sense Balti.

Try listening to some early Metallica (Master of Puppets and earlier) - they did some pretty thrashy stuff too. Me, I'm a big fan of both bands.
