The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Rhys Priestland, Cian Healy, or the special one of Charlize Theron and Gibbo above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Well Scarlets know how to beat us - Anthony Foley, Munsters forwards coach has called on Munster to use our strong tradition of forward play.
Who knew?

There's a difference between knowing and doing though Dreamer. I really can't wait for that match.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
We beat Munster last season, Dreamer. Maybe we'll pass on some tips after we've beaten you on Friday.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'm starting to feel sick with nerves whenever I think about it, ridiculously excited at the same time, and then add in a splash of anger at the WRU. Makes for an interesting mix!
And bring on your forward orientated game! tis just what Saints tried to do
Lucky - ha! how kind of you. Twill be after we beat you though...ooo so excited for Friday!

Not they think they tried that they get distracted with the likes of Ashton and Foden and that shiny new Russian speedster.
They don't appreciate REALLY boring rugby. They don't have the patience.

Never! ROG's younger, better looking and more talented brother (Rhys P) will play a blinder and have a tactical masterclass that will wash Munster away, under a wave of Scarlets!

I did. We earn our tries.
3 Tries = 100 phases of play
This attackign from first phase malarky will never fly.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
It's proper forwards play, don't forget it takes an awful lot of skill to retain the ball for that long. The clearing out was great and the hands were brilliant. Keeping the ball for that length of time is amazing. I enjoyed the clips. I think it's possible to like both types of rugby though. Leinster's performance over in Toulouse was amazing as was Munster's against Scarlets in 2008.

ah yeahd on't get me wrong, i can enjoy that sort of play, like when Wales went through almost 30 phases to score against Australia in the wc. I just didn't enjoy them because it's not something I want us to face in a few weeks!
