The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing pictures of Rhys Priestland, Cian Healy, or the special one of Charlize Theron and Gibbo above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Glas - yeah I am going, cutting it a bit fine though. Train only gets into Llanelli at 6:40, then just really hope there's taxi's ready outside the station so I can go straight to the stadium, meet my dad, pick up his ticket and get a nice spot on the terracing. All before 7.05!

Sorry to eavesdrop, but I'll be moving some sheep this weekend too and trying desperately not to get caught.
Hey, don't say that too loud around here. There has been rustling off the hills. Over 400 sheep have been stolen off of the Black Mountain. At £80 live or £3-400 as Smokeys up in London, somebody is getting greedy. The farmers have put up a £14,000 reward for info that leads to successful prosecution.
Steady on....a second date is a result. Who said anything about running away to London.

ah amazing! KO is at 3:40, not 3pm for the Scarlets v Munster match, I won't feel in such a rush getting to the stadium now for that one. Plus just come up on the scarlets website, hospitality is sold out for that match already. happy days.

Some appaling stereotypes in this pub. I'm away to the pub and then I'll probably run into a leprechaun on my way home.

“We’re gonna try and do a movie. We just need a story.”
Is that absolutely necessary Mick. I can think of quite a few movies that fail in that department.

Excellent glad to hear it. How long will the train take to get to Llanelli from Cardiff. Glas was saying its only about 30 miles or so.

I see the BBC have agreed a deal to extend 6-N coverage to 2017. Given ITV's inept performance during the WC, I can only this.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, hope we're well.
It would be helpful to know when we're all aiming to meet for this game and for the Bath v Leinster game so I can book train tickets.

Morning all
How is everyone? I am having a really manic, emotionally draining, yet exciting and depressing at the same time week at the moment. So much going on and running though a whole host of emotions it is untrue. Still, life is for living and experiencing such emotions, be they highs or lows has to be considered a positive, as it helps to make you understand yourself as a person, and makes you appreciate the good things in your life.
Was chuffed watching the footy last night, who would have thought that Arsenal would be the only English team guaranteed to make the Champions League knockout phases at this stage, when we were getting our backsides handed to us on a plate at Old Trafford a couple of months ago. I am drawing inspiration from this and still beliveing that London Irish can get 4 bonus point wins in the Heino and win the pool!
Any on the go this morning, am parched?

Lucky, dreamer knows what train we are getting from Cardiff to Llanelli (I can never remember the time!) and I've got your train tickets from Devon to Bath on Sunday morning, arriving at 11.40 from memoryluckless_pedestrian wrote:Bore da pawb / good morning all, hope we're well.red_stag wrote:rugbydreamer wrote:ah amazing! Spot on, Pete. Happiness feels all the sweeter when you've experienced real unhappiness. Keats wrote a poem about that, but I'd better not mention that or Glas will accuse me of being pretentious again.

Asbo, I think we might have got our wires crossed a bit here - my plan was to head back to Newport on Saturday evening and make my own way from there to Bath on the Sunday. But seeing as you've already booked the tickets, I'll take them and tag along with everyone else!

I believe that Mick has secured us tickets to head to a gig in Cardiff on the Saturday evening with bands including Quo and other ageing rockers! Then, I think the idea was that prop would drive some folks in his car back to Devon and I've arranged for a peoplecarrier-thingy to take the remainder of the partyred_stag wrote:OK so after Musnter v Scarlets we get train back to Cardiff and we head to Devon?
