Blues v Aironi. thursday night
what a treat for a thurday, mrs tooth is making toad in the hole for me and the kids, our favourite.
oh, and after tea, rugby. i might even have a beer.
ok, so the blues have come through the first couple of Hcup rounds with wins. Aironi will have a tough evening playing a confident blues in the schitty schtadium. but, but...
blues will have to play their best game and beat aironi, because if we lose to them it will take the wind out of our sails. aironi may only have one win so far but who believes it will be thier only win this season. they could catch a top-table team napping this season, i hope its not the blues tonight.
the blues team looks pretty strong. i hope navidi has a decent game. he always seemed totally outclassed when he played u21s. we could use another competative 7 in wales.

Re: Blues v Aironi. thursday night
Team looks fairly weakened
Cory Hill has to come into the 2nd row (surprised its not Cook) - With Deniol, Bradley and Down unavailable
Meanwhile Paterson has to drop into the backrow - with Warburton, Pretorious, Williams and Rush out.
Laulaula has dropped his form again and is benched
Mustoe comes back in for one of his few games this season - with Halfpenny and Cuthbert out
Ritchie Rees has been awful so far this season, this will mean Parks is forced to revert to type - so no TBP tonight folks
Navidi has only his second start in the league - hopefully he can follow up on the good work of his first.
Lots of experienced players about though - Yapp, Thomas, Filise, Tito, Molitika, Rees
