Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
Perhaps he should punch him in the face instead.
Interview with Chisora done by boxrec: http://news.boxrec.com/news/2011/chisora-plans-make-love-helenius
The fight is just 1 week away, Chisora is doing his best to hype this one up. A couple of quotes selected from the main.
Q: You said in an interview with the Finnish press that you plan "to make love to Helenius" in the ring. What do you mean by that?
DC: “Take that how you like it, I'll make him mine on December 3.”
Q: What makes you so confident of success?
DC: “I've got to win or I have nowhere to go. Everything is on the line in this fight so I have to win to continue in my career and get a world title fight.”
Q: Helenius has knocked out three former world champions. Are you scared of his punching power?
DC: “All heavyweights can bang, we're big men, but its if you can take it and fire back. I'll be in front of him all night long throwing bombs.”
Q: Why will you be better than in the Fury fight?
DC: “Because I've got the hunger back and I'm ready to do some damage. I'm training hard for this fight because I let myself down against Fury, I can beat Fury, I beat myself on that night.”
_______________________
His conditioning was certainly disappointing in his fight with Fury - but he didn't offer much in the way of thought, either. He's almost certainly right about having to win - or having nowhere to go - however - Warren is a savvy promoter and has enough ability to rebuild him - likely through Larry Olubamiwo again.
How do people see this going, any thoughts on Chisora's attempt to hype the fight (coming from a guy who's already got a penchant for ear-nibbling) and any thoughts on Chisora's future career?

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
Em Helenius isnt the finished article himself he looked gassed and a tad one dimensional in the Liakhovich fight in the last couple of rounds, but I still think he'll have too much for Chisora. Pretty poor attempts of hyping it up to be honest, maybe the weigh in will be more interesting

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
Might be interesting to watch - Helenius can hit a little. This is probably the last chance saloon for Chisora - he loses here and he will never have any credibility - for Helenius its supposedly just cannon fodder. I'm not sure about Chisora but Helenius does have some nationalistic support so I think unless Chisora comes in fully fit (and wins) its Helenius who gets the boost and maybe a little exposure over here. As for the make love comment - the less said the better.
Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
Chisora will get knocked out middle/late rounds in my opinion. People say Helenius is easy to hit, but Chisora will have to get inside first and will eat some punches on the way in. For all his faults Helenius hits hard enough to stop del boy, who will be discouraged from coming forward after the first few rounds.
Strange choice of opponent if you ask me, Helenius is a high risk fight to take so close to a first defeat. As you say oxy, warren will be able to build him back up.

Chisora certainly had the hunger for the Fury fight. Thats why he spent so much of his training camp in KFC
if he's hungrier than he was for Fur then god help him. That will also be on expensive training camp

Chisoras just a fat clown. Not that good and nowhere near professional enough to achieve anything of note. Helenius should win this not sure he'll stop the fat waster mind you Chisora took some good shots off Fury and never really wobbled but he's not the puncher he thinks he is.

What's good shape though? He's never been under 240lbs! He's only 6ft 1. The British Chris Arreola.

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
it would maybe have to be the best shape ever for him to win - but the shape he was in against the likes of williams or sexton could ask questions

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
The problem with guys like Chisora who carry they extra Christmas punds all year round is they get found out when they move up levels. Tyson Fury will find it out soon if he doesn't sort his weight out.

I'm not sure about that but I think David Pryce would beat him.

without a shadow of a doubt - fury has no defence and hes so susceptible to prices best weapon - the straight right.

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
First time Pryce cleanly lands a straight right it's over. Fury might not go down or he might and get back up but Pryce will pick him off.

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
Stupid fight for Chisora to take in all honesty. He should have taken a couple of soft fights then got back at Fury after the lamentable display. Even if he gets the better of Hellenius he's likely to be robbed unless he knocks him out.

hate it when we talk about robberies before they happen

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
Dunno - his own view is that its his last chance - so he may mentally be preparing to find his level. If he wins then its a boost and then he can safely say that its worth going on- but if he loses - he may just yield like the others in the division and turn up overweight - just for ther payday. The opposition is a bit stiff but perhaps his own ego needs that boost.

High profile ones have been - its all about perception.
Incidently - the title makes it sound like chisora trying it on with a roman goddess.

I like this one
Let us all pray that Fury, Chisora and Tony's training camps do not all coincide.
If that should happen I predict a worldwide famine.
'tis been predicted for 2012 according to the Mayan calender.

If it goes to the cards and it's in Germany I think we know what'll happen regardless. Helenius is a major prospect in Germany. Like I said I think Del Boy needed to rebuild and refocus after the Fury loss but to take such a mighty task as this , fair play to him I guess. Can't see him winning though.

Re: Chisora "to make love to Helenius"
I'm sure you're right Alex. I just think it's very unusual for a fighter to make a comeback against a better opponent than the guy they just lost to.
