Are you sure the doctor didn't leave his mobile phone inside you? Is there a faint ringing sound from time to time?

Re: The Reaction Game
I'm buzzing a bit right now... just back from Treetops in North Sydney. Started too early and got a taxi back while they were still around. It's hell later on.

Still have got Christmas Day food left... 3rd day now. Hopefully will see the end of it today... except for the cake and shortbread.

Re: The Reaction Game
Oh lord, I forgot about the shortbread! Still got an untouched Christmas pudding too. If it stays uneaten till March I'll have it instead of a birthday cake... swimming in cream

Shortbread opened, it goes nicely with a glass of wine. Might just eat the whole packet

My shortbread's now finished too but I did eat the whole packet
I've never tried to make it myself, I may have to rectify that...
Missing Kenny, really hope he's back with us soon, he must be and/or by now. Hope he's alright though.

Yeah you're right LB, had a chat with my sis (who's a nurse) and she said exactly that.
My Pro12 tips aren't too bad but my Aviva Premiership ones are Love sacks! You're the other side of the world, give yourself a break!! You're doing pretty damn well

Slipping in Pro12 but my HC tips are double pants. (i.e. two pairs of old tweed trousers)
Actually happy with my Prem League so far considering all the recent upsets against top sides.

Re: The Reaction Game
Ok, I just had a look. You're currently 16th in the Pro12 and tanning the hides of some of us who should do better. Something to be proud of
HC does need a little work, tune into your instinct, it beats form every time!
I've not got involved with the Prem League (I assume you mean soccer), know nowt about it and it doesn't really grab me.

Re: The Reaction Game
I missed a couple of matches at the start of the HC and then another couple... so I was always struggling there. I hope to finish between 40-50th place in that one.
Pro 12 - I was 11th at one stage but I'm now making silly (inflated) predictions - or just getting the winner completely wrong. I need to take a leaf out of dreamer's book; 4,5,6 point wins... not 15-25 points margins! Way too generous and optimistic.
Yeah, football is a bloody lottery. When does the season end? April-May?

Ends in the middle of May. And will start again in August. Bonkers!
Though to be fair the rugby season isn't too far off that

Re: The Reaction Game
Our rugby league/rugby union season starts early Feb (trial matches) and finishes in October. So no break for me whatsoever.

Re: The Reaction Game
Union here runs early September to early May with HC final end of May. League, I think, is Feb to October, though you'll probably know more about that than me. 8 month season!!

Re: The Reaction Game
Also you have the Olympics... all the build up - then it's over in about 16 days.
A bit of a buzz for the people. Then the Paralympics a couple of weeks after.
It's hard to believe our Games were nearly 12 years ago!

I was heavily involved in the masterplanning of the Athlete's Village (Oly + Para modes) and also some of the other sporting venues like the baseball arena... which has since had 2 upgrades.
They are building new grandstands on the areas where the grass banks were.

Re: The Reaction Game
sorry cf... I just saw this. It was overcast and windy most of the day. Breeze right in your face in the stands but not cold. I really thought it might rain but the wind did its job and kept pushing the clouds across the ground.
