They do hurt

Did you get it done in short stages or hours at a time?

All in one sitting the Fu Dog took 6 hours

About 3 hours if i remember rightly

Yes not to bad , i only had the Fu Dog done for my 40th so thats still really bright

Will you get the Liverpool one touched up?

probably yes , i would like another Fu dog as they should be in pairs

I'm really glad I had mine re-done, it's proper bright now

i think they all hurt , but its a strange nice pain

Funny, I was with my Mum in Cambodia a few years ago and she had this obsession about elephants.... so she bought a nice little broach with a ruby elephant which looks so cool.

Then to my astonishment she said: "I wouldn't mind a small tattoo of a ruby elephant... on my ankle!" She's in her 70s...

They do get addictive , they say once you get one you will get another

If I got one I'd probably go for a swirly design motif type thingy, a double cross and a pair of mice with attitude wearing bikie gear.

They are addictive, I've drawn the line at 2 thus far but, having had one re-coloured, I am seriously tempted to have another. Key thing is to understand the permanence and pick something that will still seem appropriate in 20 years time. Mine are an intrinsic part of me now that I can't imagine being without.

And they're not really that painful. Yes the outline can hurt, and the closer to bone the more painful it is, but go for one with lots of colour and that part really is nice
