India have lost an ODI series in India only once since 2005, so a very tough task ahead for the Windies. But there will be no Tendulka or Dhoni for this series and the Windies will benefit from Pollard and simmons return. High scores are predicted for this series, so the bowling will come under real pressure, and India's green attack will be interesting to watch.

The WI's batting has definitely flattered his figures, i do not expect the Aussies to do the same, especially on their pitches.

well that was disappointing, WI really should have made at least 250 given how they were placed with 15 overs to go or so. Poor. Pollard took for ever to get going and then got out, rubbish innings.

that's a huge blow for India IMO. England won in Aus by always being in control when they were bowling, they stuck to really tight lines and gave the Aus batsmen very little scoring opportunities. Kumar would have been good at that, so it's a massive loss to India's chances.

Exactly what i was thinking, his type of accurate bowling would have been ideal on the Aussie pitches.

India scoring at 8 an over for the first 5 overs. should slow down now with two wickets down. Then again it is Sehwag
