Twitting with Robbo
Andy Robinson conducted a Q&A twitter session with fans: Andy Robinson
Main elements:
Visser eligible for selection for summer tour - good news
Recognition of young talent coming thru - good news
3rd pro district outfit in 2-3 years time - a bit too slow for my liking, but probably realistic
He's a vegatarian - who knew?

I guess they'd hope to join the Rabid? Poss with the addition of another Italian team or Welsh region?

Blimey - a lot of strategic negotiations are required to be needed to gain agreement for Rabo sides in the various Euro competitions. And would a possible 15-side Rabo be viable?

I don't eat meat either..... but I don't eat veggie burgers or veggie Haggis. You either eat meat or not don't try to appease the obtuse veggies who want to have their cake and eat it!
Onto the tweets.
I think the third team in 3 years is monstrously optimistic, and of course Visser will be in the running for a trip to the pacific Islands.
Kudos for Robbo fielding these questions though.

Just musing on the hoof...
What if there was a European franchise league (Rabo div 2) were set up with twelve sides in each - consisting the bottom two of the current Rabo, one additional Scottish, Welsh and Italian side and a National franchise (or two) from each of the the likes of Russia, Romania, Spain, Portugal, the Benelux counties, Georgia etc.?
With promotion/relegation?
