Umpire Announcement
A statement from International umpires says that 100% of them want the full DRS system to be used in all Test series.
Will this make any difference to the BCCI?

The new and improved hot spot being used in the Aus v NZ game looks to be very impressive.

Re: Umpire Announcement
Surely the ICC should say that the full DRS system being used should be up to the home team.

Yes, I'm sure most of us all agree. So annoying isn't it to have to pack it away for the Indian series.
Did you see all those black spots just before, skye? Cold beer cans...

LOL
Did you see the veins showing in the batsmans arms when using the new hot spot.

Yes, it looked a bit sci-fi didn't it? The spots definitely seem brighter too... will help for those faintest of edges.

Re: Umpire Announcement
It should help a lot. Is it a new Aus made system?
One less thing for the BCCI to moan about.

I'd say so... it must be an advancement in military technology which they've borrowed. There are close links between the two systems.

Re: Umpire Announcement
I'd rather listen to Tony Greig talk up the DRS then listen to Sunil Gavaskar slam the DRS then whinge about poor decisions later.

I think Greig might be in a wee bit of trouble, he was talking to Slater about the ICC and DRS, and then said "we all know India has the final decision don't we", Slater went quiet

He's a classic Greig - says what he wants. Needs to be careful but I agree with him 100% on this. Richie pretty much hinted the same thing without mentioning "BCCI"

Hmmmm, I wonder if a DRS system for rugby would help Bruce Lawrence?

Re: Umpire Announcement
A retrospective DRS system for Bryce perhaps? Not so sure that would work too well.
Some sort tracking device built into the ball and into the back of the necks of the players necks might be worth considering though... and a special one which discharges a 300 volt shock (into the ref) could be operated by you, my friend.

I suspect Anu D will submit a report proving that the 100% of umpires figure is only correct 50% of the time

Maybe they could get one of those invisibility cloaks to help hide panesar in the field
