unfortunately I can't see the point and I suspect the players can't either. As much as Gatland will want them to win I suspect he will be more interested in getting them through it unscathed. I see it being competative but a similar result to the 3rd place play off

Can Wales move further down the world rankings (to 9th/10th?) with a big defeat or are Aus so far ahead of them in rankings points that they can't drop any further down?
