Haye will retire if he wins!!

Haye is an intelligent Man..His heart isn't in the game...A lot of people saw his non-effort against Vladdy and I'm sure he thinks his image has been hurt!!!

Image is very important in the media and in the acting profession in particular.....

For me I think his heart is in showbusiness and the only reason he's fighting Vitali is because..

1. He doesn't fancy Wlad (w for argument sake)..

2. Vitali is knocking on and is more beatable....

3. He feels his image has been hurt by the weak last showing!!

For me people are being suckered into the theory... Haye wins and then we have a rematch....

My theory is a win over Vitali..legitimises his toe excuse...gives him the chance to leave in glory and enhances his appeal to the potential casting agents...

People who think this is the pre-cursor to younger Klits 2 I fear are going to be very disappointed!!!

This guy is too cunning to stick around too long....He doesn't really want this fight but thinks he has to take it for career reasons!!!

Haye wins or loses it's over...better accept it!!

I don't think he will beat Witali though.

Didn't think I'd pull Holly hot lips back in High either......Vitali is getting old..

why would he retire if he beats vit? it would be the richest payday if he beat vit and had a rematch with wlad.

Haye is only interested in money and a possible rematch with wlad if he beats vit would be 10x the amount of money he would make in show business.

he very may well retire, and there is no shame in being 2nd (or 3rd) best in the world. Wladimir is a very, very good boxer who would trouble most heavyweights in history.

but he still believes he can beat Wladimir (or proclaims to) and IF he beats big bro he has unfinished business.

i'd have no problems if he retires, beating Vitali fair and square is something no one else has done.

I've already explained why in the thread..try reading..

Think Haye wants to restore his image.....for me that's the only reason he takes this fight..

His head is in showbusiness...this fight for me is a necessary, redeeming and irritating image lifter for him....

I'm not sure that he would turn down a Wlad 2 fight. Simply for the massive money involved but you are right - he will retire soon enough. Nothing for the Heavyweight division - all about him.

if haye was only interested in hollywood he would never have fought wlad. It was obvious wlad was going to be a massive struggle for haye and very likely haye would lose.

Hayes stock before wlad was at an all time high so he could have retired before wlad and easily found a route into acting. However he chose to fight wlad cos the money was high. That is the only reason he will fight vitali etc. he will not retire if he wins cos theres too much money in boxing.

If Haye was only interested in Hollywood he wouldn't have fought Wlad.....

Exactly the money was high. Thats all that motivates Haye. He will not retire if he beats vit because a rematch with Wlad would be super high.

Imo Haye will beat Vitali and knock him out. Far too much speed and skill for Vitali who is slow.

Then he will fight Wlad in a rematch. Who willwin? Hard to say but I think Haye will have learned from his mistakes like Lewis did and will knock Wlad out who does not have a good chin.

What motivates Haye now is his image....He's earned more than enough to not worry about bucks.....

Image is important in showbusiness....and running like a thief and then shamefully getting your toe out doesn't automatically give him appeal to potential audiences...capische!!

Do you really think Haye has only just become a millionaire after fighting Wlad? He was loaded beyond his dreams after fighting harrisson.

Haye will not retire after wlad because haye only cares about money eg harrisson fight. If haye beat vit then the wlad fight would possibly be richer than the mayweather pacquio fight. Haye would never turn that down.

If you seriously think haye would retire if he beat vit then you are deluded. He would never turn down the amount of money he would be offered for a re match with wlad. Haye is only 31 he is in top condition so why would he turn it down? makes no sense!

It would be a great win for Haye, but Vitali is 40 years old, even greats like Holyfield were hopeless by the time they were 40. VK is still very good but has lost some confidence and power, still good enough to put Haye to sleep though if he wants a brawl.

If the fight ever got made and haye was to win I would expect him to fight wlad. Too much money involved and one last chance to unify the division. Even haye would be crazy to turn down all that.

Sadly can't see him getting past vatali.
