I gave the last to Helenius. Landed more power shots that looked more effective.
Overall - I'd give the fight to Chisora, but I'd understand if it went the other way. He's away from home - and, even though he walked forwards, there were frequent occaisions where his output was landing on gloves or missing. Referee was hopeless/biased.

I had Chisora by 5 rounds outworked Helenius. That kind of decision ruins boxing

Why would anyone ever want to go and fight away from home - you can see why people don't do it!! They get stick for it, but it's probably right given that they get jobbed left right and centre.

Man up - you're only 19. When I was 19, in heady days of yore, I'd go all night and be in lectures in the morning.

Derek doesn't carry enough pop imo to be beyond euro level, maybe as he continues to lose weight he will hit harder as his hand speed should get better. Helenius looked dead at times and if chisora had a harcer punch he could have got a KO

Neither man helped himself. Its not the way I'd have scored it - true. But away from home - Chisora shouldn't have gone AWOL in those rounds. He gave the finn a chance he didn't deserve.
Secondly - Fury is probably a better boxer than we'd thought. I know - Chisora was woefully out of shape - however - Fury understood a simple need to exert physical dominance. Helenius, a taller man, allowed himself to be meekly pushed backwards. Half the time - pushed backwards without Chisora jabbing his way in?!!
Pathetic, really.

Had Chsiora by 2 rounds in the end, had it level going into 9 and gave Chisora 9,10,11 before just giving Helenius the last due to his power shots.
Think Chisora was desperately unlucky tonight and didn't gas as much as I thought he would... though that might be just due to Helenius gassing even more. Chisora still needs to lose another stone or so for me.

Chisora made Fury uncomfortable every time he threw. If he was fit for that fight he would have won, no doubt.oxring wrote:AlexHuckerby wrote:there has to be a rescore because that was a joke

Correction - Chisora made Fury uncomfortable every time he landed. I don't necessarily disagree with the second sentence - but it ignores the point that most of Chisora's punches - even in the first 3 rounds when he wasn't totally gassed - where incredibly telegraphed and Fury was able to lean out of the way of them, for the most part.
