It would be but thankfully that ridiculous statement wasn't made by me. Jamie Moore couldn't beat an egg.

I said that in the begining of this thread (or was it another - regardless I said that anyway). You guys should listen to me more often.
After the war chat and the overrated debate, especially after Johnson's fundamentals - I'm finding myself wondering whether I'm listening to you too much

Hahaha. I study the fundermentals of all fighters before making my decision
I also said Haye would beat Vit. Watch this space. I'll make you a believer sooner rather than later.
Who knows - lighting can strike twice ;-)
Good pick for tonight mind. Helenius can't back up for toffee. Windy stated he didn't rate him - as he looks to throw pathetic arm punches. So did Monzon - but it seems that Monzon's came with considerably more force. Hopeless display from a big man. Please - feed him to Wladimir.

Nope. Every time he threw. Fury didn't really have an answer.oxring wrote:Correction - Chisora made Fury uncomfortable every time he landed. I don't necessarily disagree with the second sentence - but it ignores the point that most of Chisora's punches - even in the first 3 rounds when he wasn't totally gassed - where incredibly telegraphed and Fury was able to lean out of the way of them, for the most part.

Del would also give Wlad a very incomfortable night. Only problem with him is that he doesn't hit hard enough. He's quick, good upper body movement and has a variety of punches. I like how he leads with a good jab also and gets in range quickly. He's the perfect fighter for these elongated giants who seem to rule now.

Chisora is a better version of Perez in my opinion.

Hmm. I know you love to be pedantic. So I'll pedantically post this: 8.05 - First round, Chisora throwing a huge hook and being casually defended. Didn't look that uncomfortable there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFvO3vMWMSw
The overhand right after the jab gave Fury problems - although arguably no more problems than Fury had against Paycheque and Firtha.
Agree w/ comparison of Chisora and Perez - Chisora has a nice jab as well actually - deserves a mention.

Thats not being pedantic. Thats just you being silly.........again.
Anyone, yes anyone, even waingro, can pick incidences where Fury looked very comfortably in defending hooks, jabs etc. Doesn't prove a thing. When Del decided to shift his body to attack, Fury flailed away uncomfortably. Try harder Oxy.

Awesome. I can probably find video of him smiling after Chisora landing, so if that's your judge then your correction was wrong too.

To see you accepting that you were wrong online is enough for me Scott.
I'll accept that not quite every time Chisora threw, Fury was uncomfortable and maybe not every time Chisora landed Fury was uncomfortable.
Isn't it nice when people follow your posts with 1 liners.
-------------------------
For the record and being serious - Fury wasn't seriously discomforted in any round after 3/4 (memory fails). And given what I witnessed against Firtha and Paycheque - that's a pretty dismal effort from Chisora.

Have made a decent bet on Cotto by UD, so i may be shouting "dance you ******* fairy" if he hurts him. And i just can't see Marg winning and if he does it's late....

Scott, where are these reports for Cotto-Mayweather? I think Cotto has lost a step now but I'd take him in his prime to actually beat Mayweather in a close decision type of fight.
