Anyone still alive?
Murray is getting marked up early but he's holding his own.

Yeah he isn't looking outclassed. Still think he will be stopped though.

Yeah, probably by round 7 or 8...
But I've got it 2-2 so far.

Murrays worst enemy is the fact that he marks up soooo damn easily.
He's putting a good show on though, fair play to him.

I've got money on a Rios stoppage, the useless twonk doesn't look like his head is in the right place.

Wasn't scoring, didn't expect it to last. Good stoppage.

Glad they stopped that before he ended on his back.
Kudos to Murray. Can't stand Rios, would love to see someone wipe that grin off his face.

New respect for Murray but I do think Rios would have done it earlier had he been on his game.

Had Rios 3 rounds up before the stoppage, Murray impressed me though better than I expected

Yeah just spotted it, it would be a shame for that fight to take place to be honest.

Haha. Don't think the next one will be either, but please not another boxing controversy. Too many of them of late.

Re: Tonight's Boxing - Who's Watching? (No non-boxnation spoilers please.)
Murray got busted up badly, i find it hard how he can get his career back on track as he now marks up whenever he gets tagged. Yes rios was a big puncher, but mitchell wasn't a big puncher and murray got busted up after a few clean punches from him. He also marked up badly vs Karim El Ouazghari, a yourneyman with little power

Apart from the fact that Margs eye is slowly becoming a risk to his future...

Marg is slowing, marg's punches aren't doing as much to cotto as in the first fight. It's going to be stopped soon, that eye is closed

If this goes on, Margs eye is going to be a serious issue, he's not winning this fight at all...
I'll give this one more round.

boring. cotto didnt want to fight. spent 9 rounds on his bike, was lucky to get a thumb in the eye to win the fight.

Cotto fought brilliantly. He usually plants his feet, throws and backs away.
In this fight he moved well and landed clean shots... yeh he was lucky with the thumb but those jabs and left hooks were going to take their toll sooner or later.
He constantly circled to the left and landed jab-left hook constantly.
Just because he boxed didn't mean he didn't want to fight.
