So i am the first Villan on here?

Well i would like to say a nice warm welcome to all other Villans who also join this site.

Hopefully it can be half as useful as 606 was at making me miss important deadlines and generally doing nothing at work.

I can only hope that the MON Vs Houllier arguments stay over there and dont come here, because quite frankly it was getting tedius beyond belief.

Anyway i wont go on too much, Here is to a much improved second half of the season (fingers crossed) and hopefully we can have a summer as exciting as January.

I haven't seen them for a couple of years... but they're so underrated. The song itself is timeless

the last time i saw the was the last academy in the uk in birmingham, they was on after the Uk Subs, nobody watched them apart from 3 of us lol..
they were ace though still!!!

Oh man no way! Must have been so strange with only 3 of you! Yeah, I'm sure they were ace though. They are actually touring in April this year!! Really tempted to get tickets, haven't heard if they have much new stuff though, but I'm sure it's all good even if they do.

I never heard much of Farse, only really a few of there more well known songs. Did you ever hear much of Fandangle? They supported Spunge last time I saw them but not sure if they're around or not anymore... they were pretty good

yeah there was like over 500 people watching uk subs, no-one was interested in spunge as it was like mainly old punk bands from the 1977/78 era..

yeah im sure ive seen fandangle at some point, just dont remember, my mate massive into his punk and ska and brings me to all that stuff.

i hear spunge are still about too.

as for the newer (90's) punk ska stuff, i used to prefer farse than any of them.

I don't know much of lightyear to be honest, vaguely remember some bands like Capdown?... can't remember much though, lots of those bands seem to have disappeared!

I went to see Reel Big Fish a few weeks ago! (I assume you know them?) They were good. But yeah, the whole "punk" attitude in a lot of newer bands has gone, it's a shame. If you haven't heard The King Blues you should, some of their songs are awesome if you're looking for that kind of thing.

lol the 1st time i saw king blues they were a support band..
i think they've gone rubbish now.. 1st two albums were ace.
yeah capdown they used to play week at the rugeley red rose (a venue near me thats closed)

reel big fish.. forgot they were still about.. when i wad 15, they were my first big gig with sum41... lol reel big fish ripped them apart, was only like £10 at the time..

Sweet, that's cool. I haven't seen the king blues... they are touring in a couple of weeks though! Thinking about it.

Haha yeah, it was reel big fish's 20th anniversary tour... crazy... they're still only £14 though! Not bad compared to most bands.

Y I Man..... yes that would be quite good I think. Really have no preference to the naming of it.
