Tonderai Chavhanga
Does anyone have any news about him? He went off injured against Glasgow, will he be fit to face Exeter on Sunday? It would be a huge blow if we were missing both first-choice wingers.

Re: Tonderai Chavhanga
I heard rumours of a groin strain but nothing confirmed. Brew will be out till next year now, if Harries isn;t back soon we are certainly going to struggle.
Luckily we'll have Lydiate and Faletau back - if we get a win it'll be through our forwards.
EDIT
Wow - just read that Brew has broken a bone behind his eye - they only discovered it after his wife found him passed out after he sneezed !

Not ideal but I guess Tuilagi will could come into the centre and Hughes shift out to wing.
What is the news on Harries its been quiet fo sometime now.

No, not ideal but at least Adam Hughes can play on the wing, even if he's better at outside centre.

That's probably the last place you'd want to take Exe on tbhmunkian wrote:I heard rumours of a groin strain but nothing confirmed. Brew will be out till next year now, if Harries isn;t back soon we are certainly going to struggle.

Re: Tonderai Chavhanga
Your right, Exeter do well in that area.
Backrow forwards then, Lydiate and especially Faletau can run some good powerful lines.
I'm not expecting a win (especialy with our current form) but a LBP would be nice

Re: Tonderai Chavhanga
Chavhanga looked a real handful every time he got the ball against Glasgow, so I won't be too unhappy if he misses the game - likewise, Brew out is a boost to our chances. I'll be interested to see Rob Baxter's tactics for these two games - his frontline players are going to be rested for one of them, but will he mix it up, rest them for the home leg, or rest them for the away leg?

Yeah a LBP would be good then back tp Dave for a home win week later would see us in a good position in the group.

Still not fancy the away trip to Perp despite their recent poor form.

On the one hand they are imploding at the moment, on the other can USAP get any worse? Guess they might have fixed the problems by the time you visit?

Am hoping that they concentrating on their league rather than Amlin, but I would guess their gonna get two BP wins from the double header so their confidence will be back up.

I know we beat Perpignan in the Heineken Cup a good few seasons ago. Gareth Cooper scored a try, which tells you how long ago it was.

Re: Tonderai Chavhanga
Bad news for us to lose Chav and Brew both at the same time. Will be a tough match this.
Going down for the match, looking forward to it. + + =

Good man, Standards - there's a load of other posters (10 or so) going too, part of a 4-game weekend tour (Cardiff Blues vs Edinburgh, Scarlets vs Munster, Bath vs Leinster and Chiefs vs Dragons) - tickets split between West Grandstand and East Terrace South - where are yours?

Re: Tonderai Chavhanga
We were aiming to go in the east stand north / south? I take it both terraces offer a good view? I would love to see 4 matches on a weekend but me wallet would fall out with me....

Re: Tonderai Chavhanga
Will Harries is back in the squad for Sunday
Tondi Chavhanga is not in the squad
Just have to hope that Will is not being forced back too early. It is mad what happened to Brewy though. We really will miss him.
