I was reading this article in the cricket section: https://www.606v2.com/t19749-salix-cricket-bats-an-individual-touch (you should all take a look) and it got me wondering.

Are there any unique rugby items that are hand made individually like these cricket bats?

Richie McCaw's turnovers at the ruck? Beautifully hand made. Very Happy

I suppose you mould a gum shield by hand but I don't think they are made by hand.

I'm sure i saw on planet rugby that the highest level gilbert match balls are still handmade? Not sure on that though to be honest, just something i remember from a while back?

I'm pretty sure Groggs are hand-made, but I doubt you'd get much use from one on the pitch
