Boxing Monthly Magazine
I used to buy this as a kid
Got some early 90s copies in my parents attic as it goes
Decided next year im gonna start buying it and collecting again
Just wondering if anyone else used to read this or still does
I know you can look at it online as well but its something to read on the bus to uni for me
Also do any of you buffs know when the first ever edition came out?
Regards

Must of been the Boxing News price im confusing it with then (which for a weekly magazine is very expensive)

Used to by it and only stopped in the last few months due to subscription ran out and have not sorted out a new one. Always a good read and unlike the US mags it does not have bias to home fighters.I think the mag started around 89/90 and I was buying from the beginning.

Ring is monthly too, but by the time it gets here it's very outdated.

I always preferred Boxing news to monthly. KO to Ring also.

I had a quick look through that earlier. It was very thin. I appreciate its a weekly one but to pay 12-15 quid a month for that you gotta be pretty hardcore particularly when some of the articles wernt exactly thought provoking just Tyson Fury saying how he is gonna rule the world and that

Re: Boxing Monthly Magazine
Steffan first issue came out in May 1989 and cost £1.50, featured a Benn Watson preview and had Tyson on the cover. I have got a copy at home.

Bought this months edition on Wednesday
Forgotten how good it is. Only a handfull of pages in but so far nice tribute to Ron Lyle and a good article on James Kirkland
Was reading it on the bus and nearly missed my stop
