A well deserved accolade for Brian McDermott

After all the unfair criticism he lot early in the season this is a well deserved award.

Great news for Brian , he does deserve it he didn't bow down to the criticism and change his approach he stuck to his game plan and it worked in the end .

Not sure that is entirely true, Leeds completely changed the way they played after 2 months of the season. When the season started they were throwing it everywhere, regardless of who they were playing, what the conditions were and it didn't work. McDermott eventually realised it and changed the approach and that's when we started showing what we could do. He deserves the acolade without doubt but we definitely changed the way we played when they worked out throwing it about like you were down at the park didn't work

Yes i do agree with you that he changed your style of play after a few months , i ment it more in the way of there was talk he wasn't upto the job, but he had faith in himself but needed time to find a system that would work . Could of worded my previous post better.
