Pardew - 1 year on
Alan Pardew has made it through a year...and after a dificult start, mainly due to Ashley sacking Houghton...he has done very well indeed...
How do you think he's done?
And will it keep going?

Where are all the Geordies who hated his appointment now? Are they brave enough to say "I was wrong"? I think though the only way is down now as Arsenal and Liverpool have stronger squads and will overtake Newcastle. If they can stay best of the rest, then that would be a great achievement.

I can admit, i was wrong.
I was very dubious about his appointment. And very underwhelmed but he's steadied the ship and been a revelation.
Still question his 'yes man' traits, but he's done a blinding good job and long may it continue.

I always said he'd come good in the end
I posted on the other thread that his record is super. If he was in charge for one whole season (He's been with us for 37 league games) then we'd have finished 7th last year.
The biggest test will be the next 7 weeks until the window shuts. Strengthening and retaining the squad is key. Plus we've got some winnable games to get points from.
