Here is an interview David Haye has given to Boxingscene. Worth a read:

Interesting read. Haye's certainly very good at working his audience.

Yeah. He is only going to get worse the closer it gets to the fight. Should be entertaining.

Exactly. Much as there's a lot of bluster in what he says, to hype the fight, you kinda get the sense there's a good amount of serious thought going on behind the facade.

I think he means it and I think he genuinely believes in himself as much as he claims. Whether that will do him any good against Klitschko, I don't know.

I certainly believe he's aware of his own weaknesses, the only concern I have is if he's overestimating his own punch power.

Possibly true; but I do believe he hits hard enough to hurt Wlad put him away.

Conversely though; I believe that the reverse is also true. Wlad certainly hits hard enough to ko Haye.

Oh definitely. I suppose really that will come down to whether or not Wlad's confident enough to open up and look for the big shot. If Haye can't get to him early and give him something to think about I'd expect another case of Wlad wearing his man down and going for a dull late stoppage once Haye's all but spent.

I'm pretty sure Wlad will do the same as he always does.

It will be up to Haye to vary his game-plan and tactics and make the bigger man uncomfortable.

I think Wlad will jab, hold and lean; before possibly attempting to push for the stoppage late.

Yup. Haye will have to force the pace and force Wlad into.being uncomfortable. Hopefully if he can make an early impression on him Wlad will figure if he can't rely on keeping Haye at a distance he'll have to take him out earlier than anticipated, either way hopefully leaving himself vulnerable.

I would like to see him employ a well concentrated body attack. This something Haye has shown he is good at earlier in his career and I have a feeling it would make Wlad very uncomfortable; not many fighters have adopted this tactic against him.

I just hope we don't see a spoiler fight from Wlad. Irrespective of what people say about spoiling being a valid tactic and safety-first getting results, those things don't add up to a great spectacle, which is what this fight needs. For the sake of being this right-whatever the outcome-NEEDS to be a fight people will remember. For that to be the case though I think it'll need to end in either a devastating KO for Haye or a hate-fought stoppage or points win for Wlad. I know Haye will be satisfied with a points win (as would fans like myself), it would still he an anti-climactic result.

I don't think Wlad will change for spectators. He has been extremely successful with his style; he isn't going to stand and trade with Haye, that would be playing right into his hands. He is likely to fight very conservatively; it will largely be up to Haye to force the fight I feel.

That's what I mean-I'm hopeful that he'll be forced to fight interestingly, for want of a better way to put it.

I think if Haye is going to win he needs to have a strategy thats in the middle of his Maccarinelli all out aggression strategy and Valuev, cool and calm one.

I think he knocks Wlad out via middle round stoppage

I'd like to think so. But Wlad is a massive step up on Haye's recent competition.

That's the problem I have with Haye. Pre fight he is very entertaining. Not so much during the fight. At least he#s more entertaining that the K Bros.
