Random factor, like a tractor...

Hello. Following its roaring success on the old 606 (winner of six Luckies*) I thought I'd provide a space on 606v2 for you to post any irrelevant little things you fancy sharing.
I'll start: I've always had trouble with the line 'Love grows where my Rosemary goes.' If they'd chosen another name like Anne or Susan there'd be no problem, but rosemary's a herb so it could be 'Love goes where my rosemary grows.'

It is a rugby forum bud. But this thread is for totally random and obscure thoughts.
There is a whole raft of threads out there for rugby. We even have a Virtual Rugby Pub. Drop in sometime and welcome on board.
P.S. Start a Lions article. You picked a great team.

Communism has not been successfully implemented into a functioning econonmic or political system with the fundamental flaws of the ideology being ultra prevelant for a society to accept. The refusal of free speech was noted by Vladamir Lenin who announced that discussion creates debate, debate creates division and division will lead to the collapse of communism.
Political prisoners rose from 1922 to 1924 as a result of this.

Anyway the team could change with over a year of rugby still to be played. Could be afew randomers to force their way into the radar.

The Freudian analysis of this post is interesting. The poster is clearly keen to impress Lucky (his mother figure) and to challenge the paternal figure of Gibson to a willy waving contest.
Feminists would decry him as a (sic) Rappist citing his sexual aggression as a symptom of a desire to cement the paternalist hegemony.
Whilst Marxists of course take the poster as a symbol of the worker standing up for his rights, vis a vis the right to claim Lions line ups can indeed form the subject matter of a random thread.
Whereas Carwyn James would ask, in his gentle manner, if the poster's team would be better balanced with Sexton, Farrell or Davies at 12 if Manu is at 13.

...and I'm sure Jacques Derrida would simply argue that the good intentions of the Doctor should be considered an extension of his interest in radical formalism whilst on the other hand; Kenneth Frampton might find such a postulate (on a random factor thread) elitist and detached... lacking in the necessary empirical processes and therefore self-defeating.

"Fire on the 81st floor"... sends shivers.
I used to work on the 35th floor and we had one fire drill.
Thing is you have to go down to Basement 2 then back up again to street level... people had to be carried in the end. Some took the rest of the day off.
I even did my hammy. It was painful I tell ya!

Manu Tuilagi's a good player but Jonathan Davies has so much more to his game.

Re: Random Factor... Like A Tractor
Manu has the x factor and you guys know it. I'll concede Davies has more to his game but Manu is the player that can change a game wthin an instant. Unfortunatley Davies dosent have this and as I previously wrote Davies would replace Manu if he had a bad game.

Re: Random Factor... Like A Tractor
Once defenders realise it's a mistake to go high on Tuilagi he'll be easy to contain. He has no footwork to speak of. Unless what you meant by his ability to 'change a game within an instant' was his fondness for the big hit with no use of the arms, which is likely to see his team down to 14 men.

Manu is good with both ball in hand and without the ball. I admire Davies but I feel that Manu has the x factor. Davies won't be able to run over or knock backwards Ashley Cooper or McCabe, Manu can.

I had some onions with my steak and they didn't taste at all oniony. Not even a bit. I have noticed this trend with tomato's and some apples but this is a first for me. With the bland onions I mean.

We can build a perfect world. But it will require all onions to taste like onions.

And apples. They've lost their taste too.
I blame Maggie Thatcher. And irradiation. For bland supermarket food that is.
Bring back the small greengrocer and durty, misshappen, but well tasty apples. Same with schpuds. And onions. Feck tomatoes cos they are inherently evil. So many Wars started over tomatoes. Dont trust em. Too squishy.
How ja loike dem apples Thatcher huh?
