2012 GRAND-SLAM FANTASY

While we wait for the first grand slam of 2012, I figured why not indulge in a grand slam fantasy for 2012 during tis season of tennis drought. I will start with mine.

1. Australian Open: Murray beats Djokovic 6-0 6-0 6-0. (Yes a fully fit Djoko)...Roger and Rafa go out before quarters.

2. French Open: Roger beats Rafa in the final in a 5 set classic.

3. Wimbledon: Rafa wins against Roger in 2008 style.

4. US OPEN: Djoker wins US open against a new finalist ( me would love to see Dolgo make it to the finals)

I think all the top 4 and their fans would not complain if this result turned out to be true.

Please share your fantasies - grandslam fantasies I mean.

My fantasy is that the Slams agree on using the smaller balls and they stop slowing the sport down.

My 2012 GS fantasy:
French Open final : Djokovic vs Fognini , Fognini does another w/o

Australian Open - Roddick beats Djokovic in a five set thriller (really feel for AR over recent years, so a win would be fantastic for him). Also Hewitt reaches at least the quarters and beats Nadal on the way

French Open - Finally Gael Monfils delivers. He reaches the final beating Murray, Federer & faces Nadal in the final. He wins in a classic five set marathon with both players having injury timeouts both exhausted

Wimbledon - Murray wins Wimbledon beating Federer.

US Open - Del Potro blasts Nadal off the court in the semis and goes on to win his second slam at the US beating Tsonga in a five set banger!

AUS - ANDY RODDIC
FRENCH - GAEL MONFILS
WIMBLEDON - ANDY MURRAY
US - DEL POTRO

NADAL WINS OLYMPIC GOLD

I have another fantasy.

Someone at the top of the game gets nailed for PED abuse.

I'd prefer the fantasy that nobody does it, but I don't believe that so better it out.
