Munster v Scarlets - Sunday
First topic message reminder :
Keith Earls has been included in the 29 strong Munster squad named this morning for the Heineken Cup round four game at Thomond Park Stadium on Sunday (12.45).
Earls came through the squad training session in UL yesterday and if he does likewise in tomorrow's run could be a contender for a place in the match day squad with Tony McGahan adding "We've to wait and see, he's been out of action for three to four weeks, so we'll have to see how he gets on in training for the rest of the week."
Munster Squad (29): Marcus Horan, Wian du Preez, Stephen Archer, John Hayes, BJ Botha, Denis Fogarty, Damien Varley, Donncha O'Callaghan, Donnacha Ryan, Paul O'Connell, Mick O'Driscoll, Ian Nagle, Billy Holland, Denis Leamy, Niall Ronan, James Coughlan, Tommy O'Donnell, Tomas O'Leary, Conor Murray, Ian Keatley, Ronan O'Gara, Johne Murphy, Denis Hurley, Scott Deasy, Simon Zebo, Will Chambers, Lifeimi Mafi, Danny Barnes, Keith Earls.

Maybe games should be 50% full time result and 50% phone votes, then?

Murray playing out of his skin....Munster need another score here I think, the Scarlets look dangerous.

Re: Munster v Scarlets - Sunday
I realise I am probably in the minority here, but I actually really enjoy watching Munster play, and their approach to winning games and playing a very clever, defensive game. Of course I love also seeing creativity in the backline, and great attack, but both are a vital part of the game, and I never understand why people are so critical of teams who are defensively-minded. Munster also have some very exciting backs, such as Murray, Keatley, Earls, Barnes, Zebo, Jones, Howlett, etc.

Have to agree. He is a natural finisher when he has space but he is nowhere near as potent at centre.

Two shocking pieces of selfishness from Mafi and Earles there stopping certain Munster tries.

at least it didnt really count against them. fortunate for pearson as the whole of wales would be scanning his family tree for munster heritage had they not scored

Scarlets finally score, justice you would have to say.

I meant that Pearson should have ruled the try out for double movement or award the try. I saw nothing wrong in the buildup. Wasnt very clear, sorry about that.

Strange I know but thats referees for you... Wayne Barnes would go to the TMO for everything, Pearson for nothing...eirebilly wrote:Scarlets finally score, justice you would have to say.

O'Leary, silly box kick to give the ball away and silly penalty. he could lose this game all on his own.

Re: Munster v Scarlets - Sunday
Can someone please tell me what the point of the box kick is, other than to just hand the ball to the opposition and why is O'Leary on the pitch?

Changed form 15 at half time - might have been ripped or had blood on it.
