Re: xmas list
Games like Broken Sword no longer really get made as mainstream projects, even those of that type that do get done tend to be of a lower quality these days.
If your wanting those type of games you'll just need to go back to those you haven't played from the 90's, as that was the golden era for that type of game. Though I consider it the golden era for games in general.

Yeah I'm definitely buying the God of War Collection, I am gonna get Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection when it comes out too. Heard rumours that it's only going to be Downloadable Content though...

Re: xmas list
I wanted to get the Metal Gear Solid collection - but it's not going to include MGS1, which is bizarre.

I know! how ridiculous is that?! I think it's because they've already done that for Gamecube but it's like the best version for crying out loud!!!

Re: xmas list
I was interested - and that lost my interest. It's easily the best in the series.
I can't be the only one. So I reckon its an epic marketing faux-pas.

Re: xmas list
Anyone looking for a downloadable game (maybe pre xmas to keep you busy) then I fully recommend Beyond Good and Evil HD
Re: xmas list
I would reccommend Trials HD and the second one, great fun, not sure if it's out on PlayStation Network haven't checked but it's out on the XBox Live Marketplace

NBA Jam is another good downloadable game. Beyond Good and Evil is also pretty decent.

I am used to really enjoy playing the original warcraft games, does anyone know of any decent real time strategy games that have been released recently?

Re: xmas list
Halo Wars wasn't bad, but a tad small in my opinion and a bit slack. Command And Conquer 2 is comingout in a bit, I think suprisingly it's Rockstar that have made it!!

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of halo wars to be honest like you said too small.
Command and Conquer sounds promising, I shall look into that cheers Alex.

Unbelievable! There's a fifth installment being made, although they need $400,000 dollars before mid-september to finish it and are currently at $309,000 dollars down to their loyal fans. Would be epic if this game was made, going back to the 2D aswell I hear. Without doubt BS1 is the GOAT! Gr8 news!

Re: xmas list
Anyone looking for a cheap game check out warp on the psn store (presumably xbox live arcade as well)
Very very fun little game that has you playing an alien trying to escape from humans in an underwater base.

Currently $425,000. Looks like I'm going to have to buy BS4 this Christmas in preparation for No.5. Epic!
