What is the future of the Welsh regions
Wales getting better - Regions getting worse
I think we should all just enjoy that fact that Wales are doing good and improving. Despite that fact that the entire Wales squad will be playing domestic rugby in France within 2 years I think it could be a good thing.
They could re-build the Millennium Stadium in southern France and just re-name our national side Le Wales.
As long as we can still sing Delilah I will be very happy with a competitive Le Wales and the warm weather.

World Cup Semi final
World Cup 3rd place play off
Friendly
Only 1 of the last 3 games was of any importance and Wales were robbed in that one!
And by better I mean better than they were at the start of this year and CERTAINLY better than any of the other home nations although Scotland are biting at Wales heels.

Lol,you did well at the WC but that doesn't mean you're better than Ire,Eng and Sco,lets see if Wales can back it up in the 6 Nations first.

Definitely better than Ireland. 2 out of 2 this year.

Like I said back it up in the 6 nations, you have won exactly 2 big games in 2011 both against Ireland so there is still a lot to prove,

Re: Wales getting better - Regions getting worse
The Welsh national team usually has a high standard, at least in my mind.. I see poor performances as a temporary phase.
The regions I don't think are getting worse as they never had a period of outstanding success in the first place.
Surely the WRU have paid off the M stadium by now? When they start dumping loads of money on the regions they're bound to improve.

For the most part, from the World Cup onwards the performances have improved, I'd rather them play well and lose than play terribly, get a lucky win and put us all under the delusion that we can beat good teams.

My region is getting much better compared to the last 3/4 years.

The Regions were unbeaten in Europe, until the WRU took away their stars for the 2 weeks before the 3rd & 4th round matches. We all knows what happened next!

Rounds 1 and 2:
7 out of 8 wins while the other was a draw for the Welsh regions
Wales v Australia
Rounds the and 4:
7 out of 8 games were losses for the Welsh regions
Disgusting from our putrid Union.

Warburton robbed Wales a chance of making the final but France are better than Wales anyway so Wales did well to stay in the hunt. If Wales cam start beating the likes of France SA and Aus they will be making a step up. Until then they will not really put fear into too many teams.
