The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the wedding pictures of Father Christmas, Sean Lamont and Paddy Wallace above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

This year I will be getting up early and going visiting with the GF to her family. excited by that as even after 5.5years I still haven't met everyone.
Then back to play with the nephew and have dinner with the family before heading down to herself again that evening and spending time with her family.
Rince & Repeat for Stephen's day. although still trying to get to the Ulster game. it's a long shot though.
Talking down Ulster's chances I see

I think I’ll walk to the RDS for the match, it’ll blow the cobwebs off from the day of excess. Plus I now know it’s doable.
Amanda’s is going down to Cork tomorrow morning for the week so I’m getting my pressie tonight. Loverly stuff!

Honestly, not a dig at all pal. It was a good stroll, I was only slagging you when you arrived anyway, I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t want to.
Eoin might want a ticket, give him a shout. Nobody else is around to go with me though, arra I don’t mind going on my tobler. Done it before.

Ulster's PRO12 game against Munster on Friday 30th December is now officially SOLD OUT...
There are no tickets remaining for any sections of the ground, and tickets will not be on sale at the gates on match day.

Ah shame you're not coming down Rav, but sure it's a very awkward time of year for away matches, a few hours out of the gaff is one thing but I understand that nobody will be going. As i said though, i've been to matches on my own before, doesn't bother me a bit. Although, without Mick it's hard to know if the crowd are shouting "booooooooooooo" or "luuuuuuuuuuuuke"

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
This is pure Class: -
The producers of this beer commercial borrowed a small150 seat cinema playing a popular film, and filled 148 of its seats with rough-looking tattooed bikers, leaving only two free seats in the middle of the theater. They then allowed theater management to sell tickets for the last pair of seats to several young couples.
What would you do? Watch till the end ......

Rib injury- he DEFINITELY shouldn't have played against Aironi then.
EDIT; My bad- it's his ankle. Separate, new injury.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Silly boy shouldn't have played if not fit. I remember being shot down for saying so on an earlier thread.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Ankle ligaments Dreamer.
We are already missing Wallace and Luke Marshall isn't registered because he was injured just before the squad was submitted.
He is fit again now but very short of game time and I'm not totally sure if we already used our injury joker to replace Payne?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Actually this injury has nothing to do with the injury he had going into the game.
MrsP, according to multiple sources Luke Marshall isn't fit right now anyway. He's not been involved with the Ravens the last two weeks due to injury.
Ian Whitten to 12, with either Terblanche or Cave outside him.

ah unlucky. Busy schedule this time of year though so guess injuries are sort of inevitable for all teams.

Sure you only changed it a second ago. You originally said it was a rib injury which he had going into the match.

He will struggle to make the Leicester game but Paddy Wallace should be back for that one.

Much better for Ulster. He is an actual 12. Spence is only filling a gap due to both him and LMarshal being out. What about Ian Whitten

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I imagine Ian Whitten will start with Cave over the Christmas period. Those two have played a lot of rugby together and it shouldn't cause too much disruption.
Hopefully Wallace will be fit soon, we need him.

O'Mahony and O'Malley could possibly yes.
I suspect Marshall will get some during the 6N as well........... but it will be with Ulster.

Sell out for it, and it's been sold out for well over a week, should be a cracking atmosphere there, always is for the derby matches!
