First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the wedding pictures of Father Christmas, Sean Lamont and Paddy Wallace above the bar!

You didnt leave the Pub did you Stag? I just stay in there because its a closed-shop for meets and just have the Mrs and my boys and their partners as friends. Works for me. Billy 5-mates.

Ideally Id have kept FB chat and had nothing else on facebook. I recommend people get Whats App or Viber both excellent.

Do you mean one for Christmas and one for their B'day?

I know all about that. I have one daughter, the husband, a neice, a nephew and a brother all with B'day in December and then a Mum-in-Law and a Bro-in-law in early Jan!

Actually, the daughter's friend managed to get 2 photos of Rory Best which he personally signed and dedicated to middleP and gave them to her for her B'Day!

yep that's what I mean. Got my sister's b'day four days after Christmas, my mam and best friend on New years day, and then my brothers later on in January! (have to get his present now as he'll be heading back to Gibralter around the 5th of the month!)

Although looking at your list, I seem actually rather better off!

I couldn't believe it when she brought them home!

Although she did get a bit mixed up.

When I asked how her pal had managed to get them she said her dad was a friend of Rory Best and his brother George!!!

I seem to miss all the goings on these days.

Staggy - never heard of What's App or Viber. Headscratch

I'm keeping my FB anyway. I don't have millions of friends and do little on there, but that suits me. Also, deactivating your account just makes you disappear temporarily. It's still all there once you sign back in, so if you change your mind...I would say I'd miss your chats too, but we never did...

Anyway, Mickado mentioned Pontypridd in the B & I Cup. they thrashed Leeds Carniege the other day if that's anything to go by. My sister lives by Sardis Road (Ponty's home ground) if you fancy a trip over! Very Happy

A little. This week is calming down a bit anyway because it's coming up to Christmas, so the work is reducing slightly (other departments off work etc) and the bus journey's not so frantic (sorry school runners, but you don't half clog up the traffic!). That can only mean it'll probably go bonkers in January!

moment. Apparently Damien Welch picked up a hand injury against Munster and has had an op. will be out for 6 weeks.

Thomond - brilliant! Will make my mam watch it with me then after we've finished all our baking. Tis the first Christmas Eve in ages she's not been working, will be awesome to spend proper time with her Smile

The end of that game was a bit mental. Both sides were just running the ball at each other with no inhibitions. It's our best team try of the season even though we had to bring a hooker on for a 12 and a prop on for a winger Smile

You can try to coach it, but it comes down to instinct. It's like I've said before, other number eights would have just hoofed the ball downfield without a second thought.

Brew was amazing in the try, he was clearly injured and struggling, yet when he needed to pass to Faletau, he put on a little burst to get clear of the defender so he could get his one handed pass in, pure class.

Today is the day that Newgrange was built for.
