The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the wedding pictures of Father Christmas, Sean Lamont and Paddy Wallace above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Morn' all.
Loving that office party Penfro
Showed that to some of the folk in the office. One lass asked what the second last emoticon was. I said "If you don't know by now then I suspect you never will."
The penny dropped....cue one very red faced lass.
And....I can leave at 2pm
For those who recall the pub we were in before Sarries v Leinster at Wembley. Well, that is where I'm heading.
And our Director has just bought doughnuts.

Scarlets team against Ospreys 26th December 2011, Parc y Scarlets kick off 2.05pm: 15 Liam Williams, 14 George North, 13 Scott Williams, 12 Jon Davies, 11 Sean Lamont, 10 Rhys Priestland, 9 Gareth Davies, 1 Rhodri Jones, 2 Matthew Rees (capt), 3 Rhys Thomas, 4 Lou Reed, 5 Dominic Day, 6 Aaron Shingler, 7 Rob McCusker, 8 Ben Morgan.
Replacements: 16 Ken Owens, 17 Phil John, 18 Deacon Manu, 19 Sione Timani, 20 Johnathan Edwards, 21 Rhodri Williams, 22 Stephen Jones, 23 Iongi Viliame.
Excited!! although Iestyn doesn't look to have fully recovered, but I reckon we are resting him for the game against the Dragons on the 30th. A 4 day turnaround is a very tough ask!

Just seen the Ulster team for our clash with Leinster.
If we somehow magic a result there will at some point be a Hollywood blockbuster based on the events at RDS.

my goodness I am slow today. Stevo is on THE BENCH! I didn't think he would be picked to play at all! His neck injury can't have been that bed.
Fingers crossed I get to see him play on Monday then!
Nice one on the good deed Cari
Swanny - I don't blame you for procrastinating! The supermarkets aren't going to be fun today!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
You should see the team Ulster have named to play Leinster at the RDS! The following players are missing for one reason or another;
Paddy McAllister, Rory Best, Andi Kyriacou, John Afoa, Declan Fitzpatrick, Dan Tuohy, Johann Muller, Pedrie Wannenburg, Willie Faloon, Mike McComish, Stephen Ferris, Chris Henry, Ruan Pienaar, Ian Humphreys, Paddy Jackson, Paddy Wallace, Nevin Spence, Luke Marshall, Darren Cave, Andrew Trimble, Stefan Terblanche, Craig Gilroy, Adam D'Arcy and Jared Payne.
The ones in bold are actually injured, but it's just a case of feet up for everyone else!

Ah Micky, you can even make Elf-dancing sexshy.
Regs, it has been a great year meeting ye all. Dont think I missed seeing anyone this year, which was a total blast. Even met lovely new ones like PJ and MrsPJ.
Every single one of ye are just the sweetest, warmest, people. It has been a total pleasure getting to know you all over the last few years.
To all our Scarlets, Blues, O's and Dragons regs.
To all our London Irish, Wasps, Chiefs, Sale, Bath, Glaws and Tigers regs.
To all our Munster, Ulster, Connacht and Leinster regs.
To our resident Agen and ASM reg. Thanks for feeding us Chef.
To our All Blacks reg(Kiwi). To our Aussie reg (Breaker).
To our recovering Kenny and his beloved Pool.
To our man Cricket.
I wish you, your families and your loved-ones, joy, peace, happiness, health and love in your lives.
And thank ye all so much for enhancing mine. I love this Pub and all it stands for. People like ye lot, make me so aware of how good this World can be. Rugby is the medium, but it goes much deeper than that.
Have a Very Merry Christmas and a stunning New Year y'all.
Much love.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Afternoon amigos. Just got off the phone to my aunt - last day of her radiotherapy today so the only way is up now. And my cousin and family will be with her over the Christmas so she doesn't need to travel about - what a relief! Will be spending the Big Day with my sister and family just a few hundred metres down the road - but I think I will take my toothbrush with me anyway! Heh, heh, heh. Himself away back to his work a wee while past, mumbling 'I hate Christmas' as he went out the door. Could be something to do with the 800 folk booked to eat Crimbo dinner at the hotel and attendant mayhem.
Hope you all have a happy happy day - feliz Navidad a todos

I was going to have a rant about the supermarket but I really don't feel the need to having read that It's done now and shortly to be forgotten about. Is it too early for a glass of wine?...

Great way to kick it all off MrsP. Must be magic in your house now. Kids just make it so much better. They feed the buzz.
Us big kids(Mo, Kiefer, Mark & Moi) are going skating in Brighton soon.
Just one slight hitch. I cant skate. Ah well, expect a vid of me falling on my orse on Youtube soon. K is good like that. Loves a laugh and likes to share it.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
The movie was very funny but I reckon the good folks of Brighton might just be in for an even heartier laugh!!!
Okay you nice folks of 606 V2 Land.
I have just discovered a glitch in our Christmas plans.
Maybe you can all help settle the argument for us.
The problem is that we were away for Christmas last year so we celebrated on New Years Day. That is when the kids got to open their pressies etc. So technically we have already had a "Christmas" this year and I am pretty sure the deal is that you only get one a year, right???
So, I have been telling the kids that they will have to wait till next year for their pressies!
They seem to think I may have got my facts wrong, so I suggested I ask you guys. Since you lot know EVERYTHING.
So, will they have to wait????
I'll take the majority opinion on the matter!
