1. Akinfeev quick on the toes, get the ball out early and set up quick plays
2. Vidal break up attacks and get ball moving forward

5. Quick one touch football to get beyond their defense

SCHLKE v Juventus (I think)

Subs: Yilmaz, Dzagoev

Tactics:
1) Adler stays in goal at all times and uses all 1.9m of his height to make scoring for the opposition difficult.
2) Howedes stays back to cover the goalkeeper and prevents Porto getting clean through on goal
3) If Juventus play 2 up front, Agger and Howedes mark a man each, if not, Howedes marks the striker and Agger attacks when we attack, defends when Porto attack and sweeps up any loose balls at the back.
4) Adam is the playmaker and supports Bojan when he goes forward. He also has shots from range.
5) Bojan remains forward at all times, playing on the shoulder of the defender(s) and clinically finsihing off chances whenever they come (maybe!!!).

Subs: (If losing with 30mins to go) Agger off, Dzagoev on
Bojan off, Yilmaz on

6) Adam holds back slightly, Dzagoev plays just behind Yilmaz, who's presence in the defence allows gaps for Dzagoev to nip through.

Malaga Tactics

1. Weise to command the area and look to Dawson for starting attacks
2. Dawson to stay back and defend and never stray beyond the centre circle.
3. Dawson on hand for back passes to get the ball easily to the other wing.
4. Rodwell when defending shall run after the ball and harrass which ever opponent has it.
5. Rodwell should take any clear oppotunity to shoot at goal.
6. Ramirez and Nolito to use their dribbling skills to come inside and shoot, where Rodwell and the other winger will be on hand for rebounds.

Subs for second half: Huddlestone and Oxlade-Chamberlain FOR Rodwell and Nolito (Straight swap - Huddlestone using tactics 4 and 5. Oxlade-Chamberlain using tactic 6)

Marchetti - stay big and on your toes for shots from anywhere.
Heitinga - get it down and pass it out from the back. Watch their striker and shadow him everywhere.
Banega - pass and move, look to carve out chances and hit shots where possible.
Zarate - pass and move. Provide a goal threat from deep, hit shots, feel free to take them on with a dribble.
Matri - stay up top and be a target for passes. Hit shots and hold it up where you need to.

1. In goal, David Ospina will play as an orthodox goalkeeper. We have taken this step to nullify the shooting effect from the likes of Walcott, Gervinho and Suarez.

2. Seydou Keita will be our holding midfielder. He will be the force that stops Theo Walcott and Gervinho, if Keita cannot win the ball cleanly, foul them. Especially Walcott, who is prone to going quiet when he is outmuscled and bullied. A free kick from distance has far less impact in a 5 a side match than in an 11 a side match on a full size pitch. Keita can provoke Luis Suarez, Suarez is known to be volatile and to have a short temper, Keita can also get in a cheap shot on Suarez for Patrice Evra Wink

3. The midfield two of Mateo Kovacic and Niko Kranjcar are two attacking and creative midfielders, with a bite and the strength to be as rough as necessary in dealing with the attacking threat of Liverpool. But in possession, Kovacic and Kranjcar are two of the best at finding a pass or shooting from long range, and both are very adept at dribbling past opponents and using their heads to make the right decisions.

4. When in possession, keep the ball. Wait for opportunities. Pass and move. Every single outfield player is adept at passing and moving and finding space, as well as shooting when presented with an opportunity.

5. Lambert will lead the line, he will be up against Vidal. Lambert is a traditional centre forward who will back in all day against Vidal, and use his upper body strength to recieve the ball to feet with his back to goal, and turn/roll the defender to shoot. Lambert is known to be deadly when in goalscoring positions and he will easily be able to cope with the physical threat of Vidal, fighting fire with fire.

6. The subs will be Saviola for Lambert, and Elm for Kovacic, Saviola will continue the same tactic as Lambert, except with fresher legs and the ability to run at Vidal who will tire, and when Vidal is replaced by Maher, Saviola will have more space to capitalise on. Elm will be a like for like replacement for Kovacic, a quick and very creative midfielder who is not afraid to shoot.

Keeper to be big in the goal, be on toes for quick shots and look to be quick in releasing the ball to team mates

Control, pass and move, pass and move, keep your head up and look for your team mates.

Know your positions, stay zonal to create more space and opportunities,between you use every inch of the pitch.

Stay on your feet, no rush decisions, when Arsenal have the ball keep in between them and the goal.

Look for gaps and don't be afraid to shoot from a distance, be ready for the 2nd ball

Subs: Godin & Falcao
If winning half way through 2nd half: Take off Gerrard and add Godin, stick him with Chiellini as a wall at the back.
If losing half way through 2nd half: Take off Gerrard and add Falcao, drop Hulk slightly back and go all out for the equalizer.

Artur close down attackers quickly. Roll ball out to Melo, dont kick it.
Melo stay back to defend, play ball down the line to strikers.
Krasic in free role, creative play in midfield. Shoot from distance
Nilmar & Hooper shoot on sight, play one twos with eachother to get passed markers.

Subs with 20 mins left regardless of result, Hooper & Melo off, Garcia & Willian on. Garcia in defence, Willian join Nilmar up front.

VILLARREAL vs benfica

Starting Line-up

Subs: Simao, Motta

Tactics:

1. van Bommel play as sweeper and keep the ball away from our goal. Make yourself big and stay back. Start our attacks. Spank it forward and look for giovinco and soldado up front.
2. Giovinco will feed Rossi and Holtby ahead of him. Use your quick feet and also shoot whenever possible. Keep close to their attacker when not having the ball.
3. Holtby and Rossi interchange positions often. get on the ball and use your quick feet and skills to trick em and shoot also.
4. Soldado stay up top all times and not drop deep at all. Shoot and get into the opposing players.
5. Pass quickly and move it around. We have some very fast and pacy players which will take on the malaga players. Shoot at sight.
6. For defending, all except soldado will come back and let them pass it in front of us. Dont give space to shoot. Spring on the offensive as soon as they lose possession.

Subs - Simao to come on for Rossi in second half. Play forward more if losing and if winning stay back more.
