Where is the "bedding" him in section? As of now I have added him to my squad till someone corrects me.

What Prop means is you have to give him some time to bed into the club. In real life if you sign a player on the Thursday and play him on the Saturday hes not going to know your defensive lines and set plays. Won't know the running lines of your other backs as he will have had no time training with them yet so you would see a lot of disjointed play. This will be picked up by a few managers on predictions (I'm 1 of them!)

It's basically, with a new signing, you'd want to get him used to his other plpayers and partnerships for instance: with Whitelock, I played him on the bench before using him for a cup game and now looking at his link-up with Hamilton.

I have a dilemma then. Either play a relatively average centre partnership (losing my most valuable player, Barritt is a big blow) or throw in my new and best player who would invigorate the whole team into the deep end.

I'd risk it to be honest beshocked. I'd rate Conrad out of sorts and a bit confused, learning the game much higher then Tomkins (who is also very new to the game) Powell and Penney who are average

Personally........not sure who your playing etc, I'd say bring Smith in on the hour. Will be 20mins to work his magic and run at tired players.

That's what I am thinking Bathite. He's arguably the best outside centre in the world,with a world cup medal now, 50 caps for New Zealand, also sounds like he's been in good form for Hurricanes too (2 tries in a recent game).

No argument on best in the world for me. You'll get picked up on for playing him from the start, but it's probably worth it imo. Depends who you are playing and who the oppo centres are, so might be worth bringing on for last 30mins
