I've Had Enough - Goodbye!

After my good natured thread Whose Dad Is The Strongest? got removed, under the excuse from Fernando (one of the mods who never modded here) that Admins asked him to remove threads of "this" kind, puls even my question in one of the threads Where is my thread ALSO GOT REMOVED, I have dscided to remove myself from here, permantly.

I believe even this will be removed within 3 minutes of it being posted, so bye everyone, I'll miss you, but as a grown woman I can't stand being treated like this by kids wih crap taste in music...

NITB, relax, you have been a great member here, the board is turning chaos last few days, and no wonder admins panicked. If this stats continuous everybody will leave eventually, so wait for few more days rather than rushing with your decision. we need a good poster like u to continue

Depends on how close they look. They get in a tizz over a few puns on names and overlook mindless spamming. Then knock out a light relief thread by nitb.

It's a damn shame NITB is gone and it's a damn shame that a couple of posters have quickly pushed the forum into the state where the Admins had to take drastic action, albeit wrongly IMHO, in the case of NITBs deleted thread.
I'm sure amritia3ee and S_A must be proud of themselves and if I get a temp ban for mentioning their names, then I'll see you all later.

...NITB, dont go! I was surprised that thread was pulled also...infact I was commenting on it when it was.

The mods have to be careful...its a fine balance between control and overkill, and there are many members here that could leave relatively quickly if others went and this forum would be like tumbleweed overnight.

It's a sad, sad day for the forum.

Seriously though - you're just crying over the fact you can't just slag Nadal off on a daily basis like you used to. As soon as the Nadal fans receive their bans for daring to dismantle the daily spin machine you'll be back and we'll all pretend the whole thing never happened.

I'm certain no-on ever received a ban for being a Nadal fan. Bans are only issued to those who break the house rules.

Hands up time. It was my fault that the thread was removed.

I knew that YI Man wasn't online and that there had been issues on the board. A report drew my attention to NITB's thread and having a quick look at it decided that it could escalate. I only had mobile access so asked someone out of the mods to move it for me.

I knew that YI could move it back when he was online if he felt it necessary. I realise that I didn't look closely enough at the posts in the thread and took harmless banter, for potential to explode. I apologise for that and will be pm'ing this to NITB in the hope that she sees it.

606v2 Won't be the same without all the put downs, snide comments and insinuations about one of the all time great players. Don't worry though as there is someone else more than capable of filling the gap.

I can understand posters getting fed up with petty rules etc and no one is forced to post but personally think the "woe is me, I'm so hard done by, look at me I'm leaving" thing is childish.

But I would just like to explain myself here (i posted this on another article and it sums up what I have to say perfetly):

Everyone is blaming me for starting this 'weak era' debate too.
Of course they are ignoring the obvious fact that Tenez who wrote the first article on the matter trying to criticise debunk this era/year by claiming that the surface is slower and hence you can win with no talent. Hence Tenez really started the 'weak era' debate- just look at the title of his first article.
It's pretty clear that the article is just a clear dig at the likes of Nadal, Djokovic and Murray. What he is trying to say is that the only reason these 3 are doing well is because the courts are so slow that the fact that they have no talent but are very athletic hands them victory.

Of course most of 606v2 are Tenez fans who will instantly say I am disgraceful for pointing out that Ljubicic was number 3 while Tenez is God for pointing out the surface was slower which meant that players with no talent such as Nadal and Djokovic could win Grand Slams- hence in terms of talent (if no.1+2 have no talent) he is classifying 2011 as weak era.

Edit: Let's be honest after the Federer fans ruthlessly got rid of the other Nadal fans on 606v2 (I have spoken to many Nadal fans who left 606v2 and apparently everyday Tenez and his buddies were bashing and abusing Nadal to the point Nadal fans did not even want to go on the forum) this place has been a practically Fed-fan-only forum (apart from a few exceptions). I wonder if any of you noticed his sarcastic dig at Nadal fan's in Tenez's article 'Welcome Back Rafalitos' which has now been locked.

They're not, amrit. Those criticisms pointed at you are for spamming up the main board with stupid polls whose only purpose was to start arguments.

To suggest it's for tennis reasons is to miss the point - Lydian, NITB and Me get on perfectly well despite disagreeing on the tennis.

Kick off a weak era thread whenever you like, though you would do better to dig out some of the good ones we've already had and bump it. There is some real quality in those older articles/threads.

I only made two polls- one to compare the Top 4's of 2006/2011 and prove Tenez's theory wrong and the other to vote for Federer's best shot. Nowhere in the latter poll did I bring in Nadal- infact I voted for forehand as 'best shot.'

Apparently Tenez made an article after his injury against Del Potro in Wimby 2011 calling Nadal a cheat. tbh you can't blame Nadal fans for getting annoyed. I have spoken to many Nadal fans who said they left the forum simply because they could not stay as Tenez and his buddies thought it would be a great idea to bash Nadal all the time. 'No talent' 'Cheat' 'Moonballer' 'Nadull' Some Nadal fans even told me they were discrimated against just because they are Nadal fans. This IMHO, is far worse then making polls such as 'What is Federer's best shot' or 'Who has the best hair.'
And I wonder if you saw his sarcastic dig against Nadal fans in his 'Welcome Back' article. This is before I had done any of my two polls btw.

NITB, if you decide to come back if won't be a U turn because the reason you left has gone (after they reinstated the article) so you can come back with head held high. Personally, I hope you come back because I think you are one of the better posters, even though we disagreed about some things, and I think you are also needed to couterweight the overall Federer fandom of the forum.

If the main reason for leaving was this article being pulled, you've overreacted. If it was more the final straw, then that's different, but I still don't see there being enough negative on the forum to leave and it is worth waiting a few months to see how it pans out before making a final decision. But obviously it is your decision.
