The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Steve Shingler, Tim Visser and Sean Maitland above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Im not even sure what Ely is. Dreamer spoke badly of it and that other place Llanmummery or what ever its called.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
In Cardiff it's easier (marginally) to try and spot the nice bits than enter a relative discussion of which bits are worst

I'm really annoyed that the Edinburgh vs Ulster game isn't on TV now. It looks set to be a good one. It's rare enough we get to pick from a full deck in the Pro12 between January and March and it's not on TV. Frustrating.

Two mickey mouse teams playing in front of empty stadium.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
It would make more sense for them to play inside the stadium, even if it is empty.

Worse, one totally understrength mickey mouse team resting several players against another full-strength mickey mouse teamred_stag wrote:Notch wrote:I'm really annoyed that the Edinburgh vs Ulster game isn't on TV now. Yeah, I'm not sure why Edinburgh are resting players- I mean, it's the HC next weekend. The team needs time on the pitch together.

I'm buying you a Big Mac next time I'm staying in Cardiff or passing quickly through Newport holding my nose.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'll hold you to that Stag, Big Macs are the best (once the gherkins have been taken out).

Well it would be perfect weather for it. And you know how things can snowball, you could find yourself being the flagbearer for Team GB at the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

What's the happy haps?
McDonalds is not that nice. Burger King is better and Wendy's who unfortunately aren't in the UK and Ireland are better again. Baked Potato with chili are a Bacon Double Cheese sorts you out. I had a homemade hot chicken Roll for lunch so yeah. There really is a market for deli food abroad.

If you can't wait that long, picture this:
"its amazing what you can do with three small handkerchiefs and a bit of string, well, only the corner of the bottom handkerchief is sticking out, but you catch my drift"

@rugbymedia The WRU & SRU come to an agreement on Shingler. WRU propose that if he scores a try for Scotland he must be Welsh. SRU agree.

Evening Dreamer, Cricket and Prop... and anyone who's lurking
Just trying to decide what to do for tea. Something that needs little input then I can watch the rugby! Though I have just seen that Nathaniel Parker is on Celebrity Mastermind so I'm torn now
