The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Steve Shingler, Tim Visser and Sean Maitland above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I reckon he'll be having a cracking time at Dave parade Glas, the atmospthere at the end sounded amazing.
That was so close by Biggar though for the DG, unlucky not to get it.
Commiseration to the O's fans, you guys really stepped it up in the 2nd half, and at least you get the LBP
Dragons fans - congrats! great win for you guys!

Darren Cave finishes off an Ulster counterattack! We have the bonus point try.
Ulster 39-20 Edinburgh with about five or so minutes to go. God this should be on TV.

Marshall and Pienaar should start next week, Humphs injury just puts the button on it.

Thanks Billy. Two good back to back victories and 10 much needed league points. Expectation will be high for a similar result next Friday night against Leicester.

Liecester will be tough Rava but i think that Ulster at home may just have enough. Very impressed with Ulster, very impressed.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Billy I have always felt that we would do well enough at home this year, including against Leicester. That they will be without Flood and Tuilagi will be a massive for us. They really struggled during the WC without Flood and it was he who dictated most of the game at Welford Road. A win should be on and the much needed TBP looks achievable now following our latest two performances.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
A TBP is alot to hope for to be honest Rava, even with Tuilagi and Flood out. Leicester are not bad in defence. A win is defo on te cards but a big win is going to be extremely tough. I will be watching and cheering you boys on though

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Not to talk soccer but came across this lad called Patrick O'Connell on the web.
The first southern Irishman to play for Manchester United, he captained Ireland winning the Home Nations Championship and went onto coach in Spain winning multiple trophies with FC Barcelona, Racing Santandar, Real Betis and Sevilla.
I have NEVER heard anyone even Gibbo who is always harping on about the good old days mention him???

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I have my first match in about 2 months refereeing this weekend. My new lifestyle of working full time, studying part time and often travelling at weekends has meant that something had to give.
Its a pity I found out today that the amount of games I missed this year will cause me not to progress for a while. Ah well, there's more to life. . .heck there's more to rugby.

Sounds amazing an amazing lifestyle. You've the right idea. Irish women aren't good enough.
BTW congrats on your engagement. Whens the big day.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Noswaith dda / good evening all. Is there anything better than watching your team get a match-winning lead, hand (or grummer-kick) your opponents the chance of winning it, and then seeing them get the win they so badly needed?
Probably not. Maybe a posh five knuckle shuffle, but otherwise no, nothing.

If boring to simply take the lead and hold onto it. I prefer to come from behind as late as possible.
[EDIT: I've just read what I wrote. I'm not gonna change it. Whether or not double meaning is applied is upto you!!!]

Can you imagine POC's wedding night? The bride assumes her position then him and 7 of his mates just flop onto her.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
A cut-and-paste job:
Some game. What a difference to see Dragons players running on to the ball every now and then! If we're not careful, Toby's going to get sick of making breaks, looking 'round and finding no one on his shoulder. But we won. Hooray and thank feck for Gwent, we won!
Also, a word for Lewis Robling. A good rugby player and it must have been music to his ears to have the crowd cheering his interception try after they'd mocked his missed kicks against the Scarlets. Ma' Lewis yn siarad Cymraeg, felly: da iawn ti, Lewis!

Glas, his bride is Donncha O'Callaghan, everyone knows that. The ceremony was conducted by Dougie Howlett but he ended up stamping the roof in.
