First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Steve Shingler, Tim Visser and Sean Maitland above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Well, you can have a Hug back then. But only for your Sarries supporting bit.

Your Os supporting bit is always mean to Ulster.

Sad

MrsP - no he was the replacement. He needed not to start for a change it motivates him. He scored a try anyway. I actually didn't watch the match last night, but I saw a clip of T's try.

I hadn't been told that bit. In fact I was told he didn't get on at all but I realised that must have been wrong.

We didn't even get to LISTEN to the Ulster match last night as we had a power cut!

I was out at the Panto P4 was dancing in but had asked MrP to text me the score at half time. He only got about 20mins in and all the lights went out. Came on for about 20mins at 10pm then off again till 3am!

Trying to get organised for our very early start in the pitch dark was not fun!!

Zebo is a bit special isin't he? Liking the look of him. Hope Munster dont drive that individual streak out of him. Same with Earls. They could be special in the same team. Add Felix Jones and Munster are edging towards sexshy.

Mafi is doing well but his one move tonight is working for some reason. His step inside is getting him yards and his passing was alright. I know it was only Treviso but Munster backline play today was better than it has been for as lot of the year. Earls at centre looked pretty good. Strong in defence put in a decent kick and showed some decent hands.

Notch, first try was just hands everyone should be capable of that. Second had nothing to do with the backs. 3rd was a very good break and decent offload. 4th was admittedly a great try.

I do agree with you but it all comes down to the traditions of the team and public perception doesn't it? Even if Munster were to remove the shackles form Earls, Zebo and Jones; and were to play free-flowing open rugby a la Leinster in NLR v Bath a few weeks ago, people would STILL say Munster played up-the jumper rugby and that their team is forward dominated.

Some myths will never lie down. ( I know this - I have researched and written on myths Hug ).

Kia is right Munster will never ever be appreciate no matter how the play. People lauded Leinster for going over to Toulouse and playing free flowing rugby. Munster did it first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFJX3JbO3vU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZjMCkiA_iM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp3FYUekFpU
