First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Steve Shingler, Tim Visser and Sean Maitland above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

ah yeah but at 5am, you still really need a snooze I reckon, no one should be up at that time unless they really have to be (or are still making their way home from the nighit before!).

Alarmingly enough Dreamer same thing happened to me. I had a shower, shaved, prepared a nice lunch, had breakfast and spent a few minutes reading over 606 with a mug of tea. That never happens. The winter blues are leaving us!!!!!

A 4 day week this week!!! Yahoo

I usually snooze 'til half five, which still gives me plenty of time before I have to leave at seven.

I cycled in for the first time this year this morning, which wasn't too bad, seeing as it's not cold and it wasn't raining.

Yeah I made my lunch too Stag, and am feeling much more switched on in work than usual. Hope I manage to keep this up all week now.

And how come you get a 4 day week? no fair raspberry

Lucky - you driving in most days then? that must be really good for you to keep yourself in practice Smile

I drove in the three days last week, but only because the car was free. Most days it won't be. I'm miffed no one bought me a car for Christmas. Boo my family. Wink

They have been talking about it for years. It doesn't just apply to soccer players but actors, artists, writers, atheles etc.

Whats Jamie Roberts doing in Toulouse? Wouldn't mind bumping into Wayne Barnes down there for a chat. Seems a nice bloke.

Chef and Rava,

I wish I could. Not sure I'll have the necessary free time or the means to get to Chefs.

Land into Toulouse at 14.00 and will need to get people to their hotels and make sure they are settled in ok.

They Saturday coach to Stade Ernest Wallon is 15.15 and back at 19.15. Sunday flight is at 13.00.

This big loud fat angry Edinburgh fan spent the entire game screaming "BARNES!!!, BARNES!!! BARNES!!! BARNES!!!. I WAS IN WELFORD ROAD, YOU MISSED ASHTON DRAGGING HIM BY HIS HAIR, YOU HAVENT A CLUE" etc

We were all in the front row of the stadium and there were only about 5000 fans in the stadium and none were cheering so Barnes could hear everything.

At one stage Barnes looked up and caught his eye. The Scotsman roared "AYE YOU HEAR ME DONT YOU BARNSEY!!". Wayne allowed himself a giggle.

This continued and Dan Park was lining up a kick at goal and this guys screaming at Barnes was continuing. Barnes looked at the guy, and smiling at his antics walked about 25m across the field towards where he was seated. Barnes pointed as Cardiffs kick fly through the uprights, looked at the Edinburgh fan, winked at him and ran back towards the halfway.

Seriously was just so funny, all very good natured, and Barnes' reaction at the end just finished off the game so well.
