Like and Loathe

First topic message reminder :

This is a topic that's proved popular on other 606v2 sport forums, and is all just a bit of fun.
Basically, name a player that you like and a player that you 'loathe' and give the reasoning. Simples. Can be any player you like, from any team, from any country, but let's try to keep it civil.

I'll start:

Like: David Pocock. I admire his dedication and tenacity on the field, while off it, he seems like an absolute model sportsman.

Loathe: I absolutely, can't stand Bakkies Botha. I think there are guys who play with emotion, passion and relentlessness, but he takes it too far. His consistent foul play is something that in my eyes may makes good viewing, but does tarnish the game of rugby. I feel he is no more than an overgrown bully, who shrinks away when finally someone of equal or greater stature intervenes (Sheridan on the Lions tour, '09).

So, those are my picks, what are yours?

Funny with the Guscott thing - he could be such a good player to watch - but you could say he doesnt always come across that well on the page or as a pundit.

Like: Shane Williams, Tom Shanklin, Brian O'Driscoll, Tommy Bowe, Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Imanol Harinordoquy

Loathe: Mauro Bergamasco, David Attoub, Aurelien Rougerie, Bakkies Botha, Dylan Hartley (basically any thug or gouger in existence), Gavin Henson

Chris Ashton is now my least favourite player and the closest thing to a loathe affair for me. He just across across as a nasty character.

Toby, Sam and Ryan. Just the epitome of good guys and consumate pros, at the very top of their game. Nice geezers, who give it all for their team/s and dont moan. Complete basterds to play against. Perfect combo.

As for Ashton, he has been quoted as saying NO more swan-dives. Great winger who just needs to grow up, focus on his game and keep away from controversy. I hope he does. He is a great player.

Is it bad that I kinda like Healey and Kay as pundits?

And I loathe the chemistry between Neil Francis and Williams.
