First topic message reminder :

Let's see how this pans out.

First person to get the confirmed correct answer gets to post the next clue. No need to give the number of characters in the name, but the clue must be for the first and last name (although variants of first name are allowed e.g. Andy or Andrew)

1. Delivered without Jay, a robot, without Cy.

Julia Goerges? (from Gerogia, but the same conundrum as Carolinas <> Caroline).

laverfan I had to resort to Wikipaedia to work out which states come under south eastern USA. Virginia seems a might long way north of Florida for sure.

Fair point - I just got it off Wiki as well - then saw the map - surely it's just eastern?

The Civil War was a bit divisive to Virginia which had soldiers fighting for the Union and Confederacy, both. Good clue. Wink

No, I had to go very slightly outside top 100 for this one. Think current for one part and 80s for the other.

Sorry phrased that badly. One part of the clue is for the first name and the other is for the last name. Neither clue is sport related and one references the 80s and the other someone current.

Bobby Ewing spent about 2 years in the shower in the mid 80s. Bobby Riggs is the only one I can think of, but he's not just outside the top 100, he's dead.

Sounds like Kilroy's here, close to the dock. In front is Dickens' Christmas queue.

glad to see the clues are still coming since I've run out of ideas and tennis players.

Caroline Wozniacki

Assuming it's correct i'll in the meantime have to use some grey matter on another one.

Correct Kilroy 'woz' here, sounds like 'near quay' (niacki, especially if you do it in a Geordie accent!). Christmas Carol, queue = line.
