Tennis Player - Cryptic Clue Thread
First topic message reminder :
Let's see how this pans out.
First person to get the confirmed correct answer gets to post the next clue. No need to give the number of characters in the name, but the clue must be for the first and last name (although variants of first name are allowed e.g. Andy or Andrew)
1. Delivered without Jay, a robot, without Cy.

OK his first name sounds rather like an enlightened Buddhist (or for the nit-picking type a form of Buddhism actually)

The two sects of Buddhism that I know of are Mahayana and Hinyana and some variants.

OK he's retired and isn't oriental(well strictly speaking not our idea of the orient anyway)

I used to live in Japan and Ken's picture adorned the walls of the expats tennis club there from an earlier visit. "Muscles" by nickname but not a Nadal like physique by any stretch of the imagination.

Re: Tennis Player - Cryptic Clue Thread
Not Tom something.
Legend = another word, not those (and it sounds like that word i.e. 'we hear'.)
And there is an 's' in between the Uncle's name and the word for legend.
